Just called HTC. My order : Gun Metal Dev edition Ordered 03/25 She said my order is complete. They received the phone today and I will receive and email with tracking info today and get it within 24 hours. I feel a bit better now.

You can walk into an AT&T store and ask for one. They'll give it to you. Just tell them you have an iphone 5 coming today and need a sim for it.

I think we are fine. I ordered the same time as you and I just called HTC he said to me again that it will ship out tomorrow and that my order was good to go (everything was verified). I do have to admit I think my F5 key will break soon.

I placed mine on the 25th for a Dev edition from HTC. Still in picking status. Hope they do end up shipping. Regardless I'm glad my thread got popular.

Well the M8 already shipped and tons of people have it in hand. It's just the developer edition. But I wish they prioritized people paying 650$ out of pocket up from to them and made sure they can ship fast.

Why can't HTC ship before thursday. They should have prepared for this better.

Yep, Through HTC its cheaper for me than buying from amazon or an ATT version from the carrier. No tax and no other charges. I guess that alone is worth it although this wait is treacherous

For me basic questions to verify identity.. In what county do you live, what address have you been associated with in the past 5 years, Questions like if you apply for credit they would ask based on the info they can get from your credit report but in this case your bank provides them.

I had the same experience. After I ordered the dev edition at 1pm before it was taken down, My order was cancelled. I had to call back in to verify my order. They did a security check by asking me security questions, much like those from a credit report. And after that it was verified and...

If you look at the specs on this page http://shopamerica.htc.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prId=42973 It lists that it has a Qualcomm snapdragon 800 and not the 801. Is this a typo ?
