What I did basically, settings, developer option, then limit background process. And also I chose the option which kills ever app as soon as I click the back button. If you want to keep the app running for some reason, just click the home button. Mostly consumed apps are Google+, twitter...

When you to running apps, on top right you will find cached processes. Just clear which ever, then go back to running apps and you will see an increase in ram. Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Premium HD app

Am on AOKP omega rom. 1- auto brightness 2- on stand by auto change network to 2g 3- on standby switch off wireless. 3- make sure if not using wifi to switch it off because it keeps searching. 4- auto sync off. Huge difference P.s. Mainly what I mean by standby is sleeping time

It can be done only if rooted but the issue with permission. You wont be able to give (execute read write ) permission to ext sd card.

Gl to sd card only moves files. Apps will not work later. For example, I moved Max Payne to external sd card, and then when I launched the game, it asked to download missing files. What we need over here is an app that will automatically rout to sd card when clicked.
