Still using mine. I fast charge, and use it the way it was intended to be used when I bought it. I dont charge at night, but I do leave it plugged into my fast car charger all day while working, streaming music, and using gps, etc... It never even gets warm, let alone hot. 2 small issues...

Meh... if it did that well with no case, it should do fine with a case. Seems a whole lot better than my lg g2. Shattered 3 screens and got hair line fractures in 2 (which all rendered the touch screen useless) from much shorter drops with a decent case. It's that screen weakness that drew...

I havent used screen protectors since the htc evo 4g days.... Seems like a waste of money... I have actually taken keys to my screens, and not seen a scratch after... That being said... I dont keep my phone in my pocket with keys when I'm out hiking a mountain either... or really ever for...

Yeah...I'm getting a fast wireless charger for the N7... but.... I simply cant be arsed to mess with these long charge times for my note 4... If it would at least communicate with the pc, maybe I could get over it, but thats not the case... I spend a lot of time in the car, streaming music...

Yes... the iris scanner will work under water... and about 15 seconds after you successfully unlock your device, it will fail from severe water damage :D

Yeah... I installed gapps after 1st boot. Cleared cache & dalvik before and after. Had FC's before I even installed gapps.....

I'm on a verizon xt912. I got 4g working, dunno why it wasnt connecting before, but it does now. However.... When I flash the apn file, I loose my dialer, data, and all signal? Weird. Working fine without the patch tho.

Rom boots, and looks nice, data works, although I havent quite got 4g to happen yet, but the lag, and fc's make this rom unusable. 5 min to open up ringtone selector?? LOL ** Edit*** Nevermind, a quick "fix permissions" seems to have fixed the lag issue. Hoping I can grab a 4g signal now :D

What he said... But use an alcohol wipe made for lenses, or a dry lense wipe and some windex. Paper towels are abrasive enough thta after too many times, will scuff the lens cover ;)

How long did you hold all 3 buttons? Sometimes I have to hold it up to 10sec before it shuts down....

Maybe moto dont care... but my evo was never officially updated past gb... theres just a lot more dev from the xda comunity for it. I believe its still on of the most popular phones out there...

I put my razr in my back pocket all the time. Some of us need the room for our "man tool" and cant fit it in the front without being uncomfortable ;) That being said.... I never sit on it... It always come out when I need to sit, and I certainly would never ride a roller coaster while sitting...

Its always good practice to start fresh when accepting an update that big. Less variables = less problems..... Id do a factory reset and start from scratch... that sux... i know, but so does a useless phone :-) Ics def wasnt all the hype.... but its also not that bad... just gotta start...

Ya... no surprise vzw wants the bootloader locked! I think back to my evo on sprint... i had unlocked bootloader, and was able to use hotspot for free(sprint wants $30/mo) i was also able to flash full 3g verizon prl's.... what does that mean? I was able to use vzw towers 100% of the time...

Well, from what I've been reading... If ur phone is rooted, you cant even side load ICS. So it would make sense that they wouldnt push the ota to a rooted device. I'm sure they have a way of knowing if ur rooted or not.. That being said... Theres always the option to flash back to stock, and...

I just switched to the maxx from evo 4g (sprint) a couple weeks ago. Hows the att coverage in ur area? If its anything like it is up here, I'd say you will be very happy with the switch. Bloat... theres a fair amount of it, but... Not any worse than anything I've seen from any other carrier...

I just switched to this phone from the evo 4g (sprint), and I believe the evo, and the rezound have the same size battery, and are advertised as the same battery life. I too needed a device that got better battery life, and let me just say... WOW The maxx gets unreal battery life... Easily 2...

Thats what I been doing! Just go to my data monitor, shut mobile data off, and voila... no more 3g icon, and... it saves battery. I think its a good thing the icon is still there even when connected to wifi as it reminds me to shut off my mobile data to conserve my precious battery life.
