I think it depends on each phone hey. Like some displays appear more red than the others etc so the adjustment settings will be different for each individual. Mine for example was quite subtle and the reds only appeared on the edges which is where I made the adjustment, just for the edge

The red tint issue seems to have been fixed, Samsung just brought out an update for the Australian variants non carrier models. Its working on mine and the red issue is gone MgMEV6venIY

MgMEV6venIY An update has just come in to fix the red tint along the edges of the phone. I preordered mine from the Samsung Australia website so this update might not be available yet for those who got theirs from Telstra or other carriers. It solves the issue and i am glad its not a hardware...

Investigation still on going nothing official yet about the way forward other than the precaution of turning off the devices now. I'm hoping a repair option is made available for the units out there instead of discarding all the units ever manufactured

The camera does not touch the ground. so you can slide the phone on a surface without having to worry about scratching it If you mean the charging cable that comes with the phone it fits well no problems, if you mean the desktop cradle or docking station i have none of those
