When I go to DEVICE MANAGER I can´t find fastboot or anything like it... There are a couple of unknown devices... I should power down the phone and connect it with vol up right?

I did, but I don´t know if they´re working. Didn´t notice anything different in the device manager. The first time I connected my device windows couldn´t install them, but it did not ask for them again. How are them suposed to be installed?

Tried the sony method... Device not found... Tried the flashtool method... Device not found... I don´t know if I´m getting the fastboot drivers right or not, the does turn blue when I connect it to the PC in fastboot mode... USB debugging is checked... Does the phone need to be in sotck FW...

Having the same issue here, when I connect in fastboot the device doesn´t pop up in the device manager. HELP?!

Flashtool not recognizing device Hi, I just got my Xperia Z. Downloaded the flashtool, installed the drivers. But when I conect my device and start up the flash tool, it doesn't recognize the device, it even informs that the usb debugging is off allthough it ON... Some HELP? Thanks!

Installed the new room... But when I flashed the doomkernel (5a) it got stuck on boot... Flashed the doom kernel I had previously (5a FS) and it worked...

I forgot to ask one thing... My android version is 2.1 update 1 (is this the same as 2.1.1?), and baseband 2.1.54 and version number 2.1.A.0.435. Do custom roms have any restrictions based on the mentioned specs? Or can I install any custom rom on my android version?
