ChazyChaz yes upgraded in carphone shop. No keep old phone and exchange at the door when ups deliver the new one. The only thing Samsung won't do is refund you but will exchange as it's a known fault. Next day delivery too.

ChazyChaz I got mine through carphone but done online chat with Samsung on there site. Got a exchange coming today. So try Samsung direct if carphone has no more.

I think carriers are getting hassle from customers so worked quicker to get it out.

Yeah update as it has other fixes. It won't change your display unless you play with settings.

Im getting 9hrs on screem time at 5% left. Fhd, good signal, wifi, data, gps, 60% brightness. A mix of calls, whats app, facebook, youtube, emails, taking photos etc. Id say heavy usage as its a new phone. But thats it, give it 6 months to a year that will probaly be 30% less efficent so around...

I have called samsung uk who straight away are delivering a new one tommorow. As you say the update just helps in adaptive mode and the others are still red as you say. If it doesnt work again then il get a refund if i can.

So while awaiting the fix to land in the UK I have been playing with the settings and found its most white/natural with The RGB scales all the way down. Thats red green and blue all the way down. Still have a slight red hue on the edges but not as bad. Fo we have any idea whe the uk will get...

The screen isnt bad, people just cant adjust to change from amoled and over saturated colours. Before this I had s3. And to be honest its different but I like it and the resolution is lovely. Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app

I think its something to do with the nfc connectors, my blackberry z10 does the same noise when taped and when I take back cover off it stops and you can see the connectors of the nfc. And if u tap them it makes the same noise. Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app

Depending were you have your brightness, I have my phone on my desk as I type. Not as bad as everyone is stating. Either they havent got the phone and seeing it on youtube which will not give you results in person or there just plain trolling as they havent the chance to pick one up for...

I had same problem, make sure google location services are on aswell as normal location services. That fixed it. Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
