HI OP, I actually wrote to you on this before. I have set to wake screen during phone call by pressing the power button. Then after remap the power button to long click power during screen off, it is extremely difficult to wake the screen during phone call. Is there any possible remedy to this?

Software and rom related. Try updating to the latest 2.67, probably will not have flicker any more.

Suggest to try to repair with pc companion first. Select the left hand most option, and then the "repair" option.

install sony pc companion to your computer. Select update service to the left most of the selection menu. Then select "repair", proceed as instructed on the screen.

xperia z. I have the same problem after installing the spg glass protector ver1. Since the ver2 has a cutout at the proximity sensor, I do not like it and therefore keep on using the ver1 without the cutout. I prefer to disable the proximity sensor instead of having a pit on the screen surface...

I am using xperia z, observed similiar battery bug, although not exactly the same, in the previous 244 rom. When updated to the latest 2.67, seems that the battery bug is gone. You can give 2.67 a try to see what will happen.

Since I am on stock ROM, it seems that I have to mod and sign my system apk..........err.........not too familiar with this..........and with the frequent update of xz, seems a bit troublesome..........unfortunately.

Are you sure Tasker can do this? In my Tasker, the choice of 2G/3G toggle is RED with X, meaning that it is not selectable in my ROM environment.

Just follow the flashtool instruction and re-flash the stock rom first, everything will return to unroot stated. Reroot then and try again.
