    Thread [Q] Instant lock sound

When you lock the screen on any stock Android phone, you get the flash animation and a click sound. However the click sound only plays once the flash has disappeared from the screen so it's about a second after you press the button. I was wondering if there's a mod/way of making it so the lock...

Post [HELP THREAD] Xperia Z | Ask any question | Noob friendly

Thanks for the advice. The indicator under the headphone cover is actually slightly tinged pink from condensation, but no water has got into the phone and the other indicators are still white. I've found out from the supplier that the new cover comes with the rubber attachment pre-connected...

Post [HELP THREAD] Xperia Z | Ask any question | Noob friendly

Not sure if this is the right place for hardware questions, but... The headphone jack cover on my Xperia Z broke off and I lost it (the rubber thingy attaching it to the phone is still there) and without it my phone is no longer waterproof. Sony have said that it won't be covered under warranty...

Post [HACK] Increase Internal Memory Size to Whatever You Want!

My Galaxy Mini has a European (Italian?) firmware with a Galaxy Next bootlogo. Its PDA number is S5570MJKT3, and this isn't on the list or in Google Drive. Is there any way of enabling this memory hack for my firmware?

I flashed the zip with CWM and it flashed fine, and fixed the problem! I have now installed and used successfully TriangleAway. Many thanks!

I just retried the root with Odin, same result. I do have ClockworkMod Recovery so I will try to flash it with that.

Thread [Q] "There is no SU binary installed and SuperSU cannot install it"

I used CFRoot and Odin to root my Galaxy S3 i9300. It seemed to go OK but when I open SuperSU it says "There is no SU binary installed and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!" I have tried to install SuperUser but that also says the SU binary isn't installed. What has gone wrong? Do I...

Thread [Q] Have flashed Polish Jelly Bean ROM

I got tired of waiting for the UK to get Jelly Bean so I used Odin to flash the Polish unbranded Jelly Bean ROM to my Galaxy S3, and it's working fine. My only question is about the CSC. My CSC now shows as I9300OXFDLI1. This is presumably not a UK CSC. Will this affect my device in any way for...

Finally my case is closed :) Play.com received my phone almost three weeks ago. They said it would take up to 2 weeks to process in the warehouse but they "lost" it. After speaking to a manager they magically found the phone again and said they'd process the refund. Just checked my online...

    Thread Slow wake up

When I lock the screen of my Galaxy S3, then press either the power button or the home button to show the lockscreen, about half the time it takes about 2 seconds to show the screen after button press. I've searched and seen S-Voice caused this problem so I disabled that. I also removed my SD...

Hmm... beauty is in the eye of the beholder ;) As for TouchWiz (designed for humans, what is this advertising campaign trying to say) I agree but I'm going to flash a non-Samsung Jelly Bean ROM hopefully once I get it so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I suggest that with the state of HTC's repairs at the moment, you stay with your temp fix until it stops working. Then print out the HTC official repair guide for this problem located at the beginning of this thread and bring that and your phone to a local phone repairer/unlocker. They should be...

Wow, that is very very poor. Contact the shop/site you bought the phone from and tell them what's happened and how HTC's being uncooperative. They should replace your phone for a new one... I would say complain to HTC but in my and other people's experiences they'd probably do f*ck all.

Hi gloscherrybomb I had exactly the same treatment in regards to the bootloader and was told it was the final decision and nothing else could be done. Post [HARDWARE FAULT] WiFi antenna fault. HTC One X [22.04.2013]

It should take weeks, mine took about that long though it wasn't Expansys. If Expansys then sends it off to HTC and HTC try to charge you for the unlocked bootloader (I was supposed to pay £195 or £30 to have it returned) and Expansys pass that cost on to you, remind Expansys that although...

Right, so that means I have to pay £25 to have my phone returned from HTC then? And then I contact the CAB... do I tell them that Play.com says they can't replace the phone because it's more than 28 days old? Play.com says only HTC are responsible for the warranty from after 28 days. And I...
