Never, never, never uninstall stock apps. You will have problems with updates. Freeze them

Like every notification on Android, you go in the Application menu, you search for the app concerned and uncheck "show notifications"

Custom Kernel is the way for ext3 and ext4 but bootloader unlocked is needed. Edit: to be more precise, ext3 (and ext4) are supported by the default kernel but the mounting part is not implemented (i'm not a specialist but it is more or less the way it works)

Already tested with an Acro S : exFat unreadable, Fat readable It will be the same for the Z/ZL Due to NTFS and exFat patent, there is no driver implementation in the kernel for those formats in standard (custom kernel is another story) My 2cents...

No :( It helps AT&T phones to get other Rom (in this case the french Orange Rom). You need to have unlocked bootloader to do that.
