Post Intune company portal for email and work calender

The digital passwords aspect is not accurate. We had this rolled out, and I can still use my fingerprint. Calendar though is a pain. For a short while, the Samsung Email app worked with the corporate email outside of the Company Portal space, but it has now stopped working. This is very frustrating.

Post WiFi strength, range, and throughput

Both the Wifi, and cell signals are weaker than the Nexus 6P and the Samsung S7 Edge by a fair margin. With the Wifi, this is most notable when you're on a level of a house other than the level of the router. The Wifi cuts out periodically, and its signal strength is about 1/3rd of the other two...

    Post Adoptable Storage guide

Thanks a lot for this great work. FYI, when I did this, I couldn't get Google Music to download to the SD card. I guess it downloads to internal storage first, and when the SD card is not adopted storage, Google Music sees that it's there. But when it is adopted storage, it doesn't - which I...

Post Worth buying nexus 6p right now? Or wait?

Denny, are you aware that the font size can be changed? Just go to settings and search for font. The TomTom app I can't speak to, but I'm not sure what's wrong with Google Maps and Waze that you would need that app. In all likelihood it doesn't work because TomTom has not updated it for Android...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

I think only one person in this thread has sent his back, and that fixed it. This is where having a spare phone like a One Plus X can be useful, whether it's because of this or a phone breaking. But of course even the low end phones are not free. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

I wouldn't call you an idiot. The Edge+ is a better phone. The 4GB ram makes lag a thing of the past, the screen is even more beautiful, and the screen size is very nice considering the size of the phone (smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus yet larger sceen). The only down side is no 120GB storage...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

It makes sense that it's not a universal problem. If it was, it would have been picked up by reviewers. I've read or watched many reviews from Android Central, Phandroid, Android Authority and others, and not one of them mentioned GPS as an issue even after months of use. So I think you're...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

And for the record, I don't think it's childish. If GPS is important to you, and it is the many people, it's simply unacceptable that they shipped so many units of their primary phone with this being broken. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

I tried out the iPhone 6 plus S at the store yesterday. If you're going to switch, switch to the S. The 3D touch thing will make your life a lot easier. Also, to get past some of the limitations, I recommend installing S-Launcher app. It will add quick shortcuts (not on/off switches) to the...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

The problem is that most of their devices are so damn good. I'm equally upset with the GPS issue. But when I got back to Android after a brief work based hiatus to the iPhone, I looked for the best phone on the market camera and screen wise, power wise etc., and found myself right back to the S6...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

Hi SanoJA: So just to make sure I understood you, you're suggesting that if you have a protective case on the phone, that could be what is interfering with it if it is made of aluminum? I had a plastic case, the official Samsung wallet cover and still had this issue when I had the regular S6...

I tend to agree with you since I had this issue with both the Note 4 and the S6 edge. I can confirm that the S6 Edge+ does not have this problem. At least mine doesn't and I haven't seen any complaints about this in S6 Edge+ forums. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G928A using Tapatalk

Hi folavo: I agree with you. It is extremely strange that something so major could have been missed. If you look at 3 months later type reviews on youtube, you'll find no one even mentions this as a problem. The reality must be something like this impacts some portion, but not all of the...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

Could be. But it also could be the larger distance between the GPS and other antennas. Would an S6 edge+ ROM work on a regular Edge? By the way, it is too early to say for sure, but so far I'm seeing the 4GB ram get rid of all lag related to Touchwiz. I didn't have much of that on the regular...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

Thanks. I appreciate it. Telus is about as close as it gets LTE band wise to AT&T, although they do put less bloatware on than AT&T. If the GPS works on that, it should work on AT&T hopefully.

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

I recently started a new job and they got me an iPhone 6. So I'm using that now and have sold my S6 Edge yesterday. Tommy, I hear you. For you, because you use this for walking, running, etc. This is an issue. But for driving, turning WiFi off has resolved this for me. The accuracy is indeed 6 to 12 meters, but that is good enough for driving. For walking I haven't had problems either. I don't use it for...

This gels very well with what I found, but it's easier to do than my suggestion. What I found was that in Settings, searching for location and then changing it to use just GPS instead of GPS, WiFi, and LTE, fixed the navigation for the most part. I will try your suggestion tomorrow. It's likely...

Thread 925F /International users on US carriers, anything special to get updates?

Hi Folks: If you're using the 925F, but on AT&T or other US carrier, do you get updates normally OTA? When I purchased my 925F, I was in the Netherlands using an AT&T Sim, and it updated to 5.1.1 that day. I believe there was an update for the 925F today, and I know these take a while to...

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

I can now confirm with 100% certainty that changing location to GPS only resolves this issue completely. The only down side is that if you need location services for Google Now and other apps, when you're done driving, you have to change location settings back to using all 3, gps, WiFi and lte.

Post [Q] GPS not working properly

Oddly enough, the thing that at least so far has resolved this for me is changing the location settings to use only GPS, supposedly the least accurate positioning system. My theory on this is that our LTE/HSPA signal is weaker, and that including that in GPS may be giving false info to the...
