MIUI ROMs contain a folder with firmware for the base band. That's the "firmware-update" folder I'm talking about. There are threads in this forum which provide Kate firmware to replace in Kenzo ROMs.

AFAIK, you can use Kenzo ROMs with Kate easily. Just flash Kate firmware-update folder.

It's easy to add support for the OP3T. Just prepare a patch of the kernel and apply it to the current ROMs. The OIS improvement might be only firmware, so no ROM/user app space responsability.
