    Post Pixel 4a Screen Protectors

Have the Omoton protector. Covers the usable screen, could be a bit wider, but it's better than their 3a protector, which distorted the edges of the display. No clarity issues, no installation issues. The cutout at the top of the screen for the speaker is unnecessarily wide. No hole punch...

Post Spigen NeoFlex wet application screen protector

1 day followup: All the bubbles have disappeared. There is still very mild visible distortion that is present with every protector of this type. It doesn't bother me, but screen clarity perfectionists will probably complain. Again, its not a TGSP, but its great for what it is. No other issues.

Post Spigen NeoFlex wet application screen protector

I just bought this protector as well, and installed it today. It is exactly the same size as the pre-installed protector, which personally I like. That avoids issues with the curved screen, but is still large enough to protect the screen adequately when using a case. Of course the second...

    Post [RoM][XWLPY-4.0.4-ICS]SHOstock2 v6.2 [11/13/2012](FINAL)

Happy to hear this, its one of the reasons I stuck with Unnamed on Gingerbread. Most of the other decent roms neglected both the power menu and 14 toggle mod, which are, in my opinion, two of the most useful tweaks any modder can add to a rom.

This has already been posted in this thread. It will do a lot of good if sources are released concurrently, which Samsung is legally obligated to do. On a sidenote, this link mentions that Android Beam in integrated, which is an NFC based tech, so that would imply Samsung is finally putting the...

    Post The Useable CM9/ICS Thread

We can mod most gingerbread roms to work well on i777s using Entropy's hellraiser program, but it doesn't work for ICS yet. Once we have kernel sources you will quickly see some good custom ICS roms for our phone. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using xda premium

    Post [ROM][2.3.6] UnNamed v2.2.1 - (2/23/2012) - Working download link - Final Release

This ROM could maybe use one more release, but seeing as we're probably only a month out from an ICS source drop, I wouldn't be devoting tons of my time to a ROM thats going to be completely outdated that quickly.

Post SAMSUNG Y U NO GIVE US ICS KERNEL SOURCE???

Yes, as soon as the sources drop for the i9100 (presumably when Samsung officially releases ICS for the i9100), we will have ported copies of ICS working perfectly on the i777 within a few days. You can install the leaked i9100 roms now, but you'll have broken softkeys and no in-call audio, so...

Post SAMSUNG Y U NO GIVE US ICS KERNEL SOURCE???

It may be unlikely, but it is possible, that when i777 specific builds leak from Samsung they will properly support the NFC chipset. Although ISIS is scheduled for a major launch until 2013, their hand may be forced by the release of NFC sim cards that allow mobile payments from any phone...

    Post [REQ] Custom Splash Screen

Though not a solid answer, here are some thoughts. When we do an Odin flash of an unsigned OS, this is the screen where the yellow triangle pops up to remind us of our evil ways (its actually an entire new picture that has the triangle on it, as evidenced by the fact that on an i777 this...

    Post [REQUEST][ICS]Bezke_XXKP8 Port

Current CM9 builds are using hacked Gingerbread kernels (correct), and as such we have sources, meaning that even if the Hellraiser hack mods userland files, the touchkeys could be fixed with a kernel mod, correct? Post AdamOutler will bring awesome to our phone

Right, the problem is that because UART is broken on the i9100, low level fix development of the type he does NEEDs to be done on an i777, but due to the fact that they are almost the same device, almost everything he finds on the i777 can be used on the i9100. Its funny because although the...

Post Is it dumb to sale the ATT and get International?

I'd keep the ATT version too. It is almost exactly the same as the international version, with the specific exceptions of the key layout, NFC chip in the ATT model, and a slightly lamer charging circuit in the ATT model, as well as missing FM. Its really just a tradeoff of "do you want FM or...
