Still waiting on HTC to provide the kernel source, however I am going to attempt to build if I can manage to pull the built kernel data from the device. currently working on setting up my Cyanogenmod build environment.

I requested the kernel source from HTC, as they don't have anything for the desire 530. I am interested in building both a CM13 and CM 14 ROM for this device.

I would like a config as well if possible. I've been meaning to learn a bit about development and I can put my server to good use(it's got more than enough storage and I can leave builds overnight if need be

Did the Dual cameras on the V10 work on any of the cyanogen based roms? It looks like the T-mobile V10 got Cyanogenmod. It's rear cameras werent dual, but the front ones were.

I don't understand too much about android ROM development, but what would prevent CM14 development/future versions from being developed?

Just got my Dev laptop working again. Just need to download Linux and set up a development VM.

Mine is only doing red and green as well. tried playing with light flow and couldn't get it to do anything.

It would be nice to bring a plethora of options to this device, however I feel like getting CM running would be a good start. maybe CM/AOSP. Hopefully I'll get some free time in between work to look at setting up the device tree/getting the kernel to compile.

HTC sync manager can download the factory image for the phone. not sure if that includes stock recovery.

I don't have a stock recovery, and HTC doesn't seem to provide it.

Mine did that too when i tried SD. saved fine to internal. How much space do you have left on internal? USB drivers are part of HTC sync manager i think.

I did see that. I've been editing the build files and device information that I forked from the one mini 2 device repo. I've been having issues with the repo sync for actual cyanogenmod though(my repo is just the specific device properties). I'll work on it when I can, but I'm also working on...

One more update. I've asked HTC for kernel source for the one remix. hopefully HTCDev actually comes through and provides it. hopefully also for Lollipop.

What about the Radios? does the difference in Radio CDMA vs GSM change anything major. I'll take a look at the porting guide and see if I can get something booted.

what is needed to work on a build? I would be interested, but not sure If i need kernel source or device specific drivers. neither of which HTC dev supplies for the One Remix.

glad to hear! ill have to do the fastboot TWRP when I get home. not sure what is needed for the One Remix to get CM12 support. HTC has the kernel source for the M7 and M8 online(and even the one Max), but not the remix.

That's where I looked too. did you do the fastboot install? I'm trying the app from the store, but it doesn't list the device. also, interesting. the SUInstaller worked on mine, but it is hit and miss. not sure how to root it otherwise.

I used SUInstaller from the same guys who do sunshine. worked fine for me. How did you get TWRP installed? I can't seem to get it to work. As for installing the current build, not really sure I want to do that, since I don't have a backup phone to use right now.

The One remix has S-off and root now thanks to the sunshine team. how hard would it be to get cyanogen mod onto this device?

What would the registry entry for MOID be? I have a non AT&T carrier, and I want to change that entry to be AT&T

I completely forgot that the Nexus 9's K1 was 64 bit cores, vs the shield and TK1 32 bit. I don't have my nexus 9 yet, but I could try and fiddle with bluetooth once I can get it.

Since the TK1 has a custom linux OS with driver support, would it be possible to prod these modules into loading on linux on the nexus 9? and if these drivers could load, would the CUDA be supported?

What carriers have the One Mini? Can't seem to find it on the advantage page. the one remix is listed as "in development" for the lollipop update.

I think it's a high flux rather than an RGB, as it appears that the surface mount RGB on the nexus 6 actually has 6 leads instead of 4

format wp7 card I don't mean to necropost this, but I have a 16 gb card from an HD7. I put it in my windows 8 slate, and it gets read, but no utility will format it. I attached two photos showing the SD card in drive management, the other showing the result of partition creation.

I'm going to make one for windows 8 metro, then I can attempt to port it over.

whats the best open source GBA emulator? it would be interesting to use NFC and the Local Wireless to emulate Link functionality. I tried to port a GBA emulator to WP7 XNA but it failed, now with native code, i want to try it in metro.

your english is just fine :) I am trying to work on a GBA emulator by porting a C# GBA emulator to the XNA platform. So far it is giving me hell. If it does eventually port, I dont know about the playability.

I really don't want to sound rude, but what in the world are you talking about. I haven't had a single MAJOR problem with it. I've had a few graphical glitches, but thats about it. Also, its a BETA release.

I got the mango beta, and tried to use the compass API, but I just get a "sensor is not present on platform." the HTC compass app still works though. NVM: turns out this is because the Drivers don't exist for the compass yet, this is just a microsoft image with no OEM customizations..... *facepalm
