Flash LineageOS without MicroG, and flash GApps, most of all problems will be fixed. And signature spoofing available only for MicroG for security reasons.

If you coming from update with date 20200415, full wipe required. Next updates you can flash without full wiping, I just recommend you clean Dalvik-Cache and Cache before update. And yes, changelog from MicroG version also applied to the version noMicroG (excluding MicroG modules in changelog).

Please, try to flash latest update with full wipe. Here is changed device tree, and it might be incompatible with older versions.

You can try to flash ROM without wiping vendor. How I think, when you flash ROM vendor will be override automatically.
