10/6 Issues I'm running the 10/6 ROM, updated from a build in early August. I really like the new features and improvements. I have two issues of real importance. I'm using ODHUS CWM recovery; and about half the time startup locks before the splash screen. The top bar (status, clock, etc.)...

I keep my recovery ZIP file on my SD card, format everything other than the external SD three times, re-flash my recovery, reboot to it, and then continue with flashing my ROM/gApps. (This isn't exclusive to this ROM).

Is this the right checksum? I've downloaded the file multiple times and I keep getting a different hit.

Mine stay on forever as well. It never turns off or reboots, either back to the ROM or to Clockwork. Titanium will reboot it, though.

Try flashing the kernel from your PC first; that's what fixed it for me. I think the instructions are up this thread somewhere.

It sounds like this is pretty far down in the stack. This is good diagnostic information for the devs.

I found an older copy of the Zune installer. Download the file from here, uninstall the current version, disconnect from the internet, and run this installer. NOTE: That's the x64 link. If you're running 32 bit, Google ZuneSetupPkg-x86.exe and you'll find it eventually.

But you're right that it's odd. The file is only 200MB; and the flash utility still talks about ActiveSync. The update utility is 3.27.4.3, which is the same as what was going around for Rhodium.
