    Post Nexus 5 Battery Results

My battery life is fine as long as I keep GPS off. As soon as I launch the Maps app, battery will start to drain faster, and continues to drain faster even after I turn GPS off. Only restart fixes the issue. There is gotta be a wake lock somewhere. I know someone must have found the solution...

Thread Can't find Carrier specific file download

When I first got my N5, it automatically connects to AT&T LTE network, even when the LTE network has bad connection. Then someone posted a carrier specific file, that allowed my N5 to drop to 3G whenever LTE connection is bad. I just upgraded to 4.4.3, and need to find that file again. The...

I ordered mine on 2/3, and just got the shipping confirmation yesterday. We can safely deduce that they probably get new batch of 16gb every 2 weeks or twice every month, hence the 2-3 weeks wait. If your order can get in the current batch, you'll receive it quickly. You have to go thru att to keep your unlimited data plan. If you buy thru Amazon, you'll get assigned to one of the default plans, and you have to talk to att to get your unlimited plan back. The issue is that there is no guarantee. If unlimited plan is important to you, suck it up and go to...

That was the exact problem I wanted to avoid. I ended up buying the ATT version. Pretty sure it's a CM9 issue. If you go to the original CM9 thread on the i9100 forums, many people report that the Media service is running nuts on their phones. It only happens to some people it seems. Basically if you use video, you have a high chance of running into it.

Currently there are only two major things wrong with this rom. 1. Video recording and playback 2. Market and Tibu are flakey. Sometimes a reboot would fix it, but not guaranteed. I did just a straight install from yesterday's version without wiping. The only thing you have to be careful of, is to wipe Market (Google Play)'s data before installing Gapps again. Or else market doesn't let you install certain apps.

Post [ROM][PORT][ICS 4.0.3] AOKP [25 March 2012] Better HW Acceleration.

This rom is a port from the I9100 forums, while the I9100 rom is based on CM9 nightly. So unless Fenny wants to spend a whole lot of time troubleshooting this, which he could probably spend doing something else, it's better to wait for the CM9 group to solve their issues.

I have the same issue. It's probably related to the same core problem as Netflix not working and the video camera not working.
