Thanks for the reply. I got reading a theory that as the battery ages, internal resistance goes up and when it gets cold it really shows, but who knows. My. Best bet I think is just to replace the battery.

i had a samsung exhibit II 4g lol and well.... the roms for it had no working camera until fairly recently, of course a phone like that the camera was meh, but on this s3 the camera is decent and so i find my self using it more for quick photos uploaded to share :)
