Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

The update had been rejected from the Play Store due to use of Stadia/Game Pass branding, and due to Hurricane Sally I wasn't able to yet fix it. As of today, it should be widely available, so assuming you're using the Play Store version, please update and try again. I have been personally using...

Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

Finally, update time has come once again! 0.5 has been released onto XDA Labs and is under review on Google Play with a ton of improvements. Here's the changelog: - Controller layout has been redesigned for better ergonomics / comfort - Support for the new Game Pass and Game Pass Beta apps. -...

Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

Hey there, I believe I see the issue you mentioned in the Sentry crash logs. I'm currently working on a major internal revamp that should fix this and many other crash issues, but it'll probably be ~2 more weeks or so before it's ready to put up.

Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

Version 0.4 is out! This doesn't change much, but there's a bugfix where the app would crash immediately on opening. If you couldn't open it at all before, it should be working now.

Could you be a tad more specific as to not sticking, e.g. a screenshot or short video? Also by turning off, do you mean it randomly disappears, the accessibility service goes off, etc?

Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

I've just released version 0.3 of the app! This isn't a huge release, but it adds some new settings, makes the APK sizes smaller, and adds Sentry crash reporting. In addition, Cloverplay is now on the Play Store!! (Actually, it's been on there for around a week now, and I just didn't notice...)...

Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

Cloverplay 0.2 has been released! The addition is that you can now edit the size of the ABXY buttons & change their spacing. Outside of that, there were some misc bugs fixed w/ root access checks & padding.

Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

I have submitted a version for Google Play; it'll take a few days to be released. In the mean time, I can send you an extended, 14-day trial, thus by the end of the period the Google Play Store version should be available.

Post [APP][BETA][ROOT][9+] Cloverplay - on screen controls for Game Pass / Stadia

Hmm thanks for the info, I decided to submit it and see what happens. Also, no, root is used to set up a virtual joystick via the uinput APIs. From what I can tell, the only other way to get Stadia to think its controller is connected would be Xposed to hijack the APIs that trigger on...

    Post [APP][ALL ROOT SOLUTIONS][6.0+]ViPER4Android FX 2.7

Thus far on beta 4 it's actually been pretty great, two catches: - Occasionally it crashes on reboot, and you have to reboot *again*. This is pretty rare, and it'll say the driver is in an unsupported state. - USB doesn't work, though BT and speakers do. Not sure about jack because I don't have...

This is apparently an issue in the latest V4A module, see here for an APK of the previous version that worked: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79614941&postcount=2049 I went through the delete all -> install AML -> install V4A dance a few more times and now it's working perfectly.

Thread [GUIDE][ROOT] You can force-enable Gmail Smart Compose without the Pixel 3!

You have to edit /data/data/com.google.android.gm/shared_prefs/FlagsPrefs.xml and change the value of smart_compose_param from false to true. Post [ALPHA][APP][ROOT][L+][v0.2 - 12/10/17] zdata: an app that makes apps use less space

I'm proud to announce version 0.2!!! This release contains Android 5.0 and 6.0 support, largely thanks to GitHub user RandomTypek, who kept testing the APKs I created over and over again. This version also contains a screen showing compression statistics for your apps! This is also the very...

Post [ALPHA][APP][ROOT][L+][v0.2 - 12/10/17] zdata: an app that makes apps use less space

Whoops! I just now uploaded the v0.1.3 APKs, and one of them is a debug build. That one should have the X86 libs inside. It's slower than the normal one, but it should do the trick until I figure out what's going on. zdata doesn't work on CyanogenMod 12...you need at least 14 (for Android 7.0)...

Post [ALPHA][APP][ROOT][L+][v0.2 - 12/10/17] zdata: an app that makes apps use less space

It should work, but I haven't tested it. That being said, as far as I know, they shouldn't *not* work unless O flat-out doesn't come with FUSE support... (In which case I'm mostly screwed, and you'd need a custom kernel.)

Post [ALPHA][APP][ROOT][L+][v0.2 - 12/10/17] zdata: an app that makes apps use less space

It shouldn't have a major impact. At minimum, on my Nexus 5 with a fake battery (that was an accident) and bad battery life, it hasn't had an even remotely noticeable impact. It *may* decrease battery life while using a compressed app, but it should be a small difference.

Introduction I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS!! Do NOT use this on apps with sensitive data!! If it makes your phone light on fire, you can't complain. This app only works on Android 5.0+ devices with ARM (and likely ARM64) processors! zdata compresses the data used by apps to...
