Not sure what kind of help y'all expect when you give no info other than "did everything perfect☆" + "boots to fastboot". Really would it hurt to just post output of all commands...?

Sorry but what's exactly confusing about the guide? It was pretty much reduced down to two fastboot commands...

I'm not replying to "when/if official" questions b-but if you do your research you should be able to find an answer to that somewhere on the internet.

I don't think so? There's no reason for dsds to be broken on retail dsds devices.

Well, you provided close to no info whatsoever so I ironically replied "me neither". Anyway, i hate solving the mysteries over forums so I'll shut up for now.

Did you wipe data when switching from OOS? If not do it now, otherwise get a logcat.

You can try updating your FW according to these instructions : https://gist.github.com/luk1337/5389bdc01cc6c02d6c22a05dd83f639f These will not require you to wipe data or boot up OOS. Also you may need to wait couple minutes for SIM to register after updating FW.

Were you talking about playback on speakers? If so I can't reproduce it here, maybe your firmware is too old or something?

I assume you aren't using any mods like magisk, v4a, etc? How can I reproduce? It doesn't affect every kind of video file / streaming app, does it?

Just add to an existing manifest. Also i prefer irc / discord. I don't think we have any media player issues, do we? Also we are using 8 pro common blobs so there is that.

Couldn't care less about what people are talking about here. As long as you aren't trying to convert people from rom X to rom Y in this thread it's ok. Also try to limit amount of silly magisk hacks for something that should actually be fixed in ROM discussed to bare minimum.
