nijel8's LOS 14.1 with pico GApps gives me 48 hrs of backup with 10 hrs SOT (medium brightness on average) on my 2yrs old hydrogen. I only use wifi though. My network preference is on GSM only. Nothing beats it, not even MIUI.

Flashlight and camera lag at startup. Otherwise an almost perfect build. Even the camera works perfectly (both photos and videos) despite slow startup. I am on hydrogen. Edit: A couple of reboots seem to have fixed the lag problem.

3 days of extensive use, so far everything is good (I don't use hotspot, volte, sim 2 or sd card), not even a single force close, minor bugs are there but battery time is amazing considering its pie still in its early stages. there is one thing that is driving me crazy back towards lineage...

Can I just dirty flash over last build? or should I clean flash?

zero lag, animations are very smooth. battery life is obviously not as good as nougat ROM but the phone is entering deep sleep so there is no extensive battery drain.

Thankyou so much for your efforts. 20 hours of heavy usage and I can say that this ROM is almost working as a daily driver for me as I rarely use hotspot and camera and everything else is almost perfect considering it is an alpha build. Even deep sleep is working so far. Can you please share...

Smooth and stable as expected, the only bug I get is that quick tiles layout doesn't stick. Resets itself after every reboot. Am I missing something?

Is anybody having noticably laggy interface, especially when opening/closing app drawer? Tried flashing twice but the lag's still there. Never had/have it on any other ROM. Am I missing something?

strange. been 16 hours and things are going great for me. deepsleep is working. BBS was listing nfcservice as a partial walelock so deleting it did the trick for me. Maybe your problem lies somewhere else.

Nfc service was the culprit. deleting NfcNci folder under /system/app solved the wakelock problem.

If this is what you mean by multiwindow, flashing a Note 7 ported ROM might be the easiest way to get this, can't say about stock ROM though as I've only used stock for a week or two :)

Most likely the digitizer is faulty, get it replaced. As for the S Pen, it has nothing to do with the digitizer as it uses the S Pen sensor film which lies behind the screen AFAIK..

1. just flash the zip, the kernel inside the zip will be flashed automatically. 2. Can't answer this one cause I never backup my apps, I always reinstall them.from the store. 3. Yes, just copy to sdcard and flash. 4. This is maybe the final build and is very stable.

try to restore the efs.img with PhilZ recovery via custom restore... :good:

well I flashed via odin and I didn't get a bootloop but baseband and IMEI problem, what I know is that IMHO PhilZ CWM is better than TWRP. ;)

Sometime ago when I had a Galaxy Gio, we had a CWM recovery build that was working perfectly on phones manufactured in China but was softbricking the phones manufactured in Vietnam. Maybe we have a similar situation here.... :confused: EDIT: Maybe there is a difference between flashing via odin...
