Download mode is Power + VOL down + VOL UP with USB cable plugged in. The blue screen you are talking about is recovery mode. If it shuts off like you say the battery is completely flat.

It's quite simple on a T280 you only need the boot image to enable adb and an appropriate frp reset tool.

If it doesn't work it may need tweaking for the A6 as it's intended for the J6.

What is it you expect from a low to mid range device? You cannot perform miracles on these devices. Pushing a device too far out of its design parameters can and does cause issues. I for one would not be prepared to deal with comebacks when someone's device becomes unstable and erratic or...

Pleas read the thread before posting. It has been repeated countless times the possible reason for this. If your recovery image is pulled from the device then it will contain padding which is removed when repacking. Perfectly normal.

Your device RMM state is Prenormal. You cannot flash anything custom in this state. The last image is stock recovery. You may need to wait 7 says for the Prenormal flag to clear or you can try the date trick. I suggest once the Prenormal flag is clear to flash the previous TWRP build first...

It doesn't delete anything. You can't access storage because it's encrypted. Nothing is preventing you from Formatting if you use the correct button. I. E. FORMAT DATA button.

Doesn't sound like you've actually installed TWRP. Seems you have booted to stock recovery. Not paying attention to installation details is likely the reason.

Custom recovery cannot possibly be affected by flashing something to the OS. The 2 are completely independent. Also custom recovery is basically a very slim OS in its own right and shouldn't have Ram issues. I don't really see what advantage updating TWRP will have, but if time permits when all...

Not sure why you put it in download mode in the first place? To exit just hold POWER + VOL down.

Magisk disables dm-verity which is why it boot looped. Without dm-verity disabled the device boot loops. There are other ways to do it without magisk also.

If you update to Pie root will work if you use the patched kernel I posted.

If its failing for some reason there will be a message on the device also. What does the message state?

Just reboot to download mode (before you say you can't, I guarantee you can) then either just install the stock recovery or the whole firmware. Boot to the OS and enable OEM_UNLOCK. I suggest in future you read the installation instructions properly.

This device is does not have an updated official firmware. Samsung abandoned it at kitkat. There are unofficial lineage builds in the development section to Nougat.
