Yes, we're both in stock and I remember this setting could be changed in other ROMs from other phones I've used. I guess it's completely a carrier thing or could also be region related. I also personally prefer to know if I'm on HSPA+ or LTE rather than just 4G grouping both as happened before...

I have an issue with some apps being still visible once I lock my screen. Some examples are YouTube and Twitter apps, if I lock my phone using one of those apps, the lockscreen is a mess. I made a clean flash. Anybody else experiencing this?

It's pretty unlikely that if H2OS and OOS have been in sync for all the OB suddenly they decide to not do so with the beta 16. Anyways hope to have Oreo soon.

I live in Mexico where is also way easier to find a Samsung flagship (or in this case, former flagship) than a phone such as OnePlus 3T or 5. Even though I'm about 200 km away from US territory, it's much easier to just buy a S7 in the local store than getting into the whole process of buying...

Getting used to the new display configuration (I liked the oversaturated colors in the previous version) but in general a pretty solid update. I didn't make a clean flash and don't have any issues with the active display nor overheating so far.

Yes, that issue is caused because of the HK mod. You'll need to change back to BoomSound so you can play WhatsApp voice notes with no issues. You can dirty flash and select that option in Aroma.

Any phone *needs CM* but is always a great option to have that kind of ROM in any phone, no matter how spectacular it is with its stock ROM.

It should, but you have to install the systemless root option. Since in Mexico we don't have Android Pay yet, I cannot confirm you that, but the whole idea of systemless root and systemless Xposed is that you can have either root or Xposed without losing the ability to use Pay.
