You're not gonna be able to flash anything on a device with a locked bootloader & you're not gonna be able to unlock a VZW bootloader as far as I know. I'm not the one who would know though to be honest - I'm a kernel guy who always buys unlocked devices and has no experience at all attempting...

I really wish I had alternative advice, but I believe in being brutally honest: do anything you can to swap it out for an unlocked/Google variant if rooting is important to you. I don't know of anything that can be done to get an unlock on VZW for bootloader unfortunately.

Lineage 17.1 = Android 10. Lineage 18.x is Android 11. Simpler answer: unless it specifically says it's for Android 11 or a test for Android 11, assume it's not. I can't imagine something as major as "Android 11 support added" would be left out of changelogs/release notes.

ROMs don't really have good or bad battery - that's up to your usage mainly. A kernel can impact battery life, but unless there's some serious bug - a ROM won't boost or kill your battery life in any real, discernible way.
