Hey Guys,
Just wanted to share what I've done to speed up my K1 tablet. You don't need root and with this app you won't need ADB to debloat without root by hand.

I downloaded Package Disabler from the Play store. This allows you to disable and enable applications and services as needed. The effect is greatly speeding up performance and releasing ram. Below is a list of items from the factory ROM I have disabled.

with the below items disabled, after clean reboot i'm registering 735MB of 1967MB used (37%)

hope this helps someone out there who hasn't installed a debloated ROM and is looking to speed things up.

Can confirm this works on the OG "Pyro" Shield tablets running stock 5.4 as well.

I just bought a Shield K1 Tablet from OfferUp, and considered going the custom ROM route, but your suggestion seems pretty solid. How does your method compare to a custom ROM (besides the time it takes to root the device and install a custom ROM) ?
