Build.prop edit

I have 2 shield tv's, on one market helper works, on the other it says token error. There is no fix for this I can find. If I exit my build.prop to trick the play store to think it's another device will it bork my system. I would try it myself but I upgraded to 6.0 and they haven't released the a restore image for 6.0 yet (if it borks my system, I'm down one shield tv until they release the restore image for 6.0). I'm actually surprised I couldn't find an answer for this here or in the nvidia forums.

Has no one has ever tried this, who is the brave soul that will test this on 5.2. If no one is brave enough than I will wait till the 6.0 factory images are released and I will be the Guinea Pig myself.

Didn't work, anyone have another solution besides market helper(now won't work on both shield tv's since 6.1 update) and sideloading apps. Editing the build.prop changed the device name when looking at device info but did nothing in the market (for letting me install non tv paid apps from the app store).

Found a fix, called the yalp store. Works great, spoofed my device to download the apk straight from the app store. Even worked on my paid apps. Got my root explorer updated and I'm playing zynga poker!!!
