14:43 Markinus gauner1986: do you have still problems when GPS is longer on?
14:43 gauner1986 Markinus: seems no.. haven't had it again...
14:43 Markinus ahh, good :)
14:44 <=*crawling left/quit
14:44 gauner1986 why? you had it? :)
14:44 =>*crawling joins
14:45 Markinus no, I think about what I could do, but it seems there is almost all done . .hehe
14:45 gauner1986 720p! :p
14:45 Markinus it's nice ye,s but not realy important. We are mech better as wince already. .
14:45 gauner1986 Markinus: or help dan and me with the liblights stuff
14:45 <=*Accido left/quit
14:45 Markinus *much
14:46 vegaman get .35 booting then :p I've tried a couple of times but don't know enough to get the info I need to get further
14:47 gauner1986 i wonder if there's any other phoneport where there's nothing left to do at kernel side
14:47 gauner1986 :D
14:47 Markinus why? we didn'T need it . . nothing what would be better with .35
14:47 Markinus hehe
14:47 Markinus maybe some optimizastions
14:47 Markinus like faste display on
14:47 Markinus faster

The way the devs are speaking it sounds like android and wp7 for the hd2 is ready for release anytime now. And I'm not so sure about the above post it sound like a guess or an opinion.

hi dcordes
leo audio ?
I'm trying...
I'm poking around with leo ts . the aim is to make ubuntu multitouch framework work
there is a multitouch framework in ubuntu? :D
how well is it supported by applications?
Curious: did you start android with a high volume in ce?
gauner1986: yes it's a work in progress
it has some test program which failed. but I tried only with the multitouch option disabled

It seems like external sound improving work and multitouch on Linux platform.

Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App

17:09 gauner1986 dcordes: hm. maybe.. can't tell how much work it is. we're nearly finished with the android stuff, so something new to experiment would be nice for sure.
17:10 gauner1986 dcordes: there are a LOT of improvements of course in the evo kernel
17:10 Curious_ manusfreedom, doesn't make difference
17:10 dcordes mhm ok
17:10 Curious_ still low
17:10 LeTama dcordes: mt?
17:10 dcordes tmzt_g2root: see there are multiple of those ifdefs
17:10 dcordes LeTama: sorry, multi touch
17:10 LeTama ah, ok
17:11 =>*netson-ubuntu joins
17:11 dcordes I don't understand it from the code: how does the output look? do you have the matrix extended by extra x/y/pressure lines ?
17:11 dcordes w/mt
17:12 tmzt_g2root yeah, but your reporting the same location twice
17:12 LeTama dcordes: no idea, I never looked at it
17:12 tmzt_g2root no, I think it samples one and then the other
17:12 tmzt_g2root basically it has to scan fast enough to register both touches
17:13 dcordes tmzt_g2root: do you think this is what ubuntu expects ?

I guess development for android on NAND for the hd2 is finished and now there moving on to new devices like the tg01 or just working on ubuntu.

Update:

01:54 Curious_ MARKINUS !!!! after 720p patch the camera takes all pictures wrong!
01:55 Curious_ it takes 4mp when you select 5mp
01:55 Curious_ sometimes 1.3mp
01:55 Curious_ random
02:37 Curious_ false alert Markinus, it seems like my problem is due to evo libs
02:37 Curious_ desire libs seem to work fien
02:37 Curious_ fine*

If I am reading this right 720p recording is working on the hd2:D

12:16 gauner1986 it's so quiet these days
12:16 gauner1986 :(
12:18 LeTama yes, very quiet... Well, I'm playing with audio without success so far
12:19 gauner1986 whats the issue?
12:20 LeTama First one is that the volume is not properly set in call.
12:21 LeTama It works if you change it after the call has been established, but saved value that is set at beginning of call isn't
12:22 LeTama second is speaker volume, Curious said that volume is lower than wince
12:22 LeTama when using htcleo.acdb
12:22 LeTama I can't tell personnaly for the speaker, but the in call volume annoys me
12:25 gauner1986 hm
12:26 gauner1986 luxury problems
12:26 gauner1986 :D
12:27 LeTama :), well, do we have anything left not luxury ?
13:23 curiousGeorge dcordes: Awesome!!
13:23 curiousGeorge I'm ecstatic you're still chuggin' away at ubuntu on the hd2! Multitouch works now, huh? Excellent job

seems like everything is working and the awesome devs are getting bored and now fixing small issues like too low audio.
there were even some discussions about wp7 cause there is very few to do.

i suppose the only thing which holds us from nand is the missing magldr...

Edit:
nothing new but anyway

[18:33] <lolmensch> is there anything to do for hd2? afaik leds are fixed, ppp and corruption long ago. what about rmnet?
[18:34] <gauner1986> yes, rmnet needs a new magldr

this damn magldr :D

----sorry----

EDIT:
what nand brings to us:
[23:15] <LeTama_> One last point and I'm out for the night, hd2 nand is not that fast, it's old nand. The main benefit is boot time and power collapse (and maybe rmnet when it comes).
[23:15] <LeTama_> cya guys
[23:15] <lolmensch> with power collapse you mean battery drain in idle mode?
[23:15] <LeTama_> yes

so less battery drain and faster boot

cheers

02:56 ocm Markinus: How slow is nand on hd2 compared to sd? Just curious here
02:59 Markinus darkstone: in almost all builds the firmware is there . .
02:59 Markinus ocm: it's not rely faster . .
02:59 Markinus *realy
03:02 ocm k thanks
03:03 darkstone <Markinus> darkstone: in almost all builds the firmware is there . .

http://irclog.netripper.com/?chan=htc-linux&day=11

NAND slower than SD ATM , but the good news is that darkstone is working again :)

To clear up any doubts, LK (Little Kernel) would be an alternative to magldr, it would only be able to boot android from nand and no rment (Credit to LeTama, crawling for the info). Oh, and its also OSS
