my bad...i didn't know the menu etc is still in chinese....

Battery still draining on idle here too, hoped it would be fixed with this update but obviously not, maybe it's just a very battery hungry ROM. I'm on that new 'Cingular' radio (26.06.04.06).

The reason i bought an android is because android > iphone, why would you want to make your android look like an iphone, people shouldnt be allowed to buy an android who do this.

It doesn't look like an iphone, what it does is mix the quality of both the iOS and Android. If you educate yourself you will find that iOS cannot use live wallpapers and live widgets, but on the other hand iOS looks pretty and has some good points too, you cannot completely disregard either.

I love Android and I don't like apple, but this ROM is a great balance between iOS and Android;)

Its a shame because i was starting to really like this ROM;( For me the battery only lasts around 7 - 9 hours with this drain;(

Worst rom ever!!!!!!Half brick my DHD

Hi.I just flash this rom from previous version 1.1.15.And now I can't login to google account because when I trying put digits for password -force close!!!!So I can't sync My phone.That's mean I cant flash any rom even official.I've lost root as well.Any idea??????

can you not even boot into recovery with power button and volume down? You could try removing the battery and the replacing it whilst on charge, i've read this boots into recovery.

once in recovery you can wipe, reflash or USB mount to replace the zip file.

The files above are labelled 1.1.21, is it really 1.1.22 yeah?

it was posted on the MIUI forums as 1.1.21 so should be okay, just not named right. I will flash now to confirm.

    MIUI team has just officially released version 1.1.14 dedicate for Desire HD, no more porting from other platform needed. And it supports English, though the screenshot is in Chinese.

    2011-02-26 update:
    MIUI ROM version 1.2.25 for Desire HD

    update: You can find the partial English UI setting instructions here.

    But after setting the locale, most of the UI is remaining in Chinese. Need a developer to change the language file to English. The download link for ROM package is listed above.

    How to flash
    --------------------------------------------
    1. Make sure your HBoot is already S-OFF.
    2. Have clockwork recovery installed.
    3. Copy the zip file to SD card and flash.

    Please do a data wipe and cache wipe before flash the zip file. The whole process takes about 5 minutes and after the first Hboot screen, it loads to MIUI themed splash screen quickly.

    Stock MIUI with the English translation applied. I'd say about 97% of the ROM is translated at the moment, and perfectly usable.

    To install:

    0. Recovery -> BACKUP!
    1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset & Wipe Dalvik Cache
    3. Install Zip
    5. Advanced -> Fix Permissions!
    6. Reboot System Now

    Once loaded;

    Menu => Settings => Programs => Manage Application => Running => Launcher => Clear Data

    Enjoy!

    If updating, just wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache. No need for a complete wipe, but do a backup just in case. Flash as normal.

    Fix permissions if WiFi doesn't work.

    If some app titles are still in Chinese then just go to Menu => Settings => Programs => Manage Application => Running => Launcher => Clear Data.
