Have you tried a older kernel that was originally for 2.3.3 instead of the newer 2.3.4 ones?
I am still at work, how is it working. Please tell me ok.

Modem & bootloader
Okay guys, here's the bootloader and modem. Tar plus a CM7/MIUI compatible zip for the modem. Let me know if there are any issues with these files
radio-cm-7-GalaxyS-KG3-signed (for CM7/MIUI)
Modem KG3.zip (for Samsung ROMs)
I9000UGKG3-PHONE.tar (for Odin)
I9000UGKG3-sbl.tar (incomplete, don't flash)

Fully updated here, working fine so far. Does indeed seem faster.
Not sure if this is what did it but when I was on Froyo I couldn't download an app over 25mb, first thing I did was try to download a 40mb one and it worked.
I just hope my SD card doesnt blow like my old one did when I upgraded to froyo.

Just flashed it with JVQ and it's working...will see how the signal is when i get outside. I get zero signal with any modem in my office (concrete building)
Just updated my friends phone (Bell) with Kies. Went fine, I notice there is no longer a daily briefing widget or any type of weather widget.. I had played around with the leaked AT&T Captivate gingerbread update which had very nice new daily briefing widgets.. Not sure why those were not included. Haven't noticed much else.
Something wrong with that bootloader, Odin won't flash it. Had to interrupt, get back into download and flash JVQ bootloader to get back up and running.
I had to take the modem.bin out of the modem .tar package for it to flash for me, if it was in the .tar it would just stall out and not flash.
Dunno, I'm using CM7 so modems are flashed through cwm, not odin. Maybe I'll try just flashing sbl.bin instead of the tarball...

If you want to do it yourself (highly suggested), here is a nice tutorial (credit to lownoise):

There's no need to create a script in sbin to copy/chmod the su binary like the tutorial suggests. Just look for the line in init.rc where the /system partition is remounted as readonly and put your copy/chmod commands immediately before that.

Worked good for me. Phone seems to be rooted and otherwise working normally. Thanks for that.32 Bugs I have noticed so far:
1.) The 3 Button recovery mode is no longer working.
2.) The browser scrolling bug is present (browser scrolling locks up when fast-scrolling through web pages.)
I haven't got to test GPS yet because it is raining here. Anyone else get to try their GPS?
EDIT: I just got my phone to go into recovery... Instead of holding Power + Home + Volume Up, try holding just Power + the center of the volume rocker. Works for me at least.
