I'm looking for a better camera with more options...

The one included only maxes out at 3mega-pixels and can only use auto-focus. And the Vibrant is 5mp camera.

Any suggestions? Help pls...

Post 857 Has the SGS Tools that you can download to your phone and then run the upgrade stock apps and apply the hacked camera.apk. That's what I did works just great. Future reference Search thread is your friend

Ahh, thanks... I guess I missed it.

Now, another noob question that i've been roaming around trying to figure out. How when we set our wallpaper from a picture in the "Gallery", you can only select a portion of the picture. How can I set it so I can see the entire picture on 1 screen, like "fit-to-page", without scrolling?

...or do I have to add some kind of app aside from using the stock wallpaper setup thing?

I use QuickPic from the market. Does exactly what you are talking about. In fact I have deleted my gallery.apk altogether.

This rom needs a better dropdown.

It is really choppy, and when you download the notification is black on black.

Other than that best froyo rom to date.

Have you applied any other theme? I am using the rc3 version without any added themes, and my dropdown notification is white on black which is quite readable. Maybe you had a bad flash/download.

if i am not mistaking all u need to do is flash the FCC mod zip or JVH camera zip and u good to go. the files u can get frm Toxic 8.
FYI i used the FFC and it works fine, in addition u can use all the settings without fear of FC as in the previous Toxic 8 at high resolutions.

It os only an issue when downloading via amazon appstore. Not a big deal. The.notification lag sucks.

Notification lag? This is the 1st post I've heard of this. Anyone else got notification lag. ?

Notification not lagging, just the Nav bar pulldown.

If you press it, it takes a sec for the Nav bar to show... also since it takes a sec for the Nav bar to pop up, if you swipe it quickly down, it seems to lag/stutter/jump trying to catch up with your finger

The only problems im having as of now are black txt in the notification bar for certain apps and the bluetooth not wantong to connect. Bt is an easy self fix. And honestly the black txt is mostly just annoying. So no big complaints. Loving rc3 jcc. Cant wait for final/4

I've been running D9RC3 for about a week now. Was looking for something with good battery life that I could put on my daughters' phones. Pretty sure this will work fine. I threw a different camera apk and a ffc mod on it without issue. Seems to work the best for me with the non-OC Bali kernel on it. Bluetooth and wifi both working. I use bluetooth to connect to my car stereo. It's working as expected - I have to answer twice, once to answer and once to redirect from speaker to 'headset' - but it's been like that for pretty much every Froyo based ROM I've had on my phone. I'd been messing around with ICS and it was refreshing to come back to a ROM that would last longer than a day, even with heavy use. Nice work! Not sure what you can improve on for the final... Thanks for your efforts!!

I have noticed this lag /jumpy status bar when opening the taskbar but I always thought it is a non-issue issue.

However the yahoo market notification being black on black is very annoying. And there is no options to switch it to white, at least none that I can find. I don't think it is a problem with the theme, I think it is a bug in the market app it self, if I understood it correctly

Slow Data

My phone somehow does not like master&slave build.prop tweak. On RC2 I have to remove them for faster data speed. But on RC3 I don't see them there, any advise ??

The tweaks are there. Some were left out because of problems with bluetooth and wifi.
