Okay, so I figured out I'm hitting home+power which was causing my issues in not being able to take a screenshot. I'm dumb, you guys are right.

Napior sent me a PM;

You mast wait for any tweak. Mike, I or other developer will make quick settings xl and modified rosi.

Wysłane z mojego HTC Vision za pomocą Tapatalk

So there you have it. Be patient and hopefully the guys will give us the tweak packages for extended settings and a 5x4 rosie grid. It's late as heck here so I'm going to check in on that supercharger dealie tomorrow. In the mean time, keeping your performance settings under High performance (settings>battery>performance) will keep most lag at bay. Very impressive considering stock clock is 1ghz. So far this has been way less buggy than Unity ever was, but time will tell.

I'll be keeping up with feedback and some fresh benchmarks in the morning.

I have yet to try this ROM (though i'm very very tempted) but for the people who are having issues with the camera, i highly HIGHLY recommend this http://www.mediafire.com/?eu9x6pt43hncsnc

That's a flashable .zip that installs the HTC Amazecam which is found on the mytouch4g which is a phone that takes very good photos. I've found that with that camera app, i get the BEST camera performance out of my phone and flash works perfectly with it on Sense 3.* ROMs.

There are also additional shooting modes such as macro, sports and a few others here and there. A couple of features like burst mode and panorama don't fully work because they weren't designed with our devices in mind but that camera app is by far the best I have used to date. Colours appear more natural and focus speed is very fast, details are very crisp and there is 0% image compression. So give it a go :).

Installation instructions:
1. Copy "HTCAmaze_Camera_MODv7_Desire_Z.zip" to the root of your sdcard.
2. Boot into clockworkmod recovery.
3. Choose to install the "HTCAmaze_Camera_MODv7_Desire_Z.zip" and that's IT!

Just for fun, here are some great looking pics that i managed to take with this camera app using the macro focus mode:

Btw I forgot to say that this .zip is not my own work, i found it somewhere deep in these forums and i have no idea who created this .zip but the credit needs to go to them. So if you know who created this .zip, PM me or something so that i can make sure that the right being credited for creating this .zip

Thank you so much to the dev who made this rom! (yes I will hit the thanks button as well) After running the rom for a bit, I found it to be very fast for a sense 3.5 rom but after supercharging and swapping It is amazingly fast! I am very happy with this and is going to be my favorite sense rom if the battery holds out ok.

I am glad that astriaos found out how to take screenshots. It is a good thing to know and will come in handy as you play around with the roms for a bit.

This ROM is undoubtedly the best Sense 3.5 ROM I've tried (not that the others aren't good either!).
The only thing that bugs me is the sound. Unlike say...ILWT, Sense 3.5 ROM's don't have the same freedom when it comes to sound processing. Beats audio is a bit noticeable in terms of volume but it's just not good enough for me. DSPManager or Volume+ don't work, and PowerAMP doesn't support DVC with Sense 3.5 ROM's. If anyone has a piece of advice for this then please do share =]

So this is the only drawback I get from this...the rest is EXCELLENT.
Thanks in advance!

I got Sennheiser CX200 earplugs and they sound good without extra sounds processors!

I have a pair of AKG K311 earbud headphones that set me back for about 12 Eur. They have good mids and for their price they sound GREAT. I listen to a lot of Blues/Hard Rock/R'n'R so I really like LOUD music. ILWT let me do just that.

So the bottom line is...am I missing something regarding DSPManager or Volume+? Do I need to replace any system files to get that extra punch? Or is it impossible for whatever software limitation?

Hey there! I asked that yesterday but got no reply so I looked for some information myself and stumbled across a link for RCMix3D Tweaks that you just simply flash in recovery from this link: http://www.uploadbaz.com/h8qg56eelwek. I got this originally from alirez_sos' mods for his Sense 3.5 ROMs http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1351081&highlight=tweaks&page=6 so give him the credit for it.

Good luck! ;)

After unlocking the screen, swiping down the notification tray there is a noticeable delay before the tray slides down. This only happens the first time after each screen unlock, each subsequent swipe it responds quickly. I can reproduce this every time by locking/unlocking the screen.

I am very positively surprised by the speed of this ROM.
Rom of Sense does not require swap to normal operation.

You should not be surprised ;)

If you want help or tips about under/over-volting I suggest you ask nik3r, he's a lot more knowledgeable on this matter than me. You can PM him or even ask at his EliteMod ROM thread.

To help with battery life you'd need to set up some profiles so clocks lower as battery percentage degrades. For this, you can use some apps. I'm only going to give a quick rundown about 3 ones I've used, they are SetCPU, CPU Tuner and the Virtuous OC Daemon (VOCD). Keep in mind that this is all personal experience/opinion and your results may vary. So,

First off is VOCD. Since it comes with the Unity kernel, you'd think it would be a good idea to use it. And it is, VOCD is a really good option If you don't want to mess around too much. It's rather simple to configure and it works wonders. However in my opinion, the lack of features such as profiles (it does have profiles but it's a set amount and compared to the other two is lackluster in that aspect) makes it less useful than the two below.

Second comes SetCPU. I've spent a fair amount of time using it, and It was a great app. It can be found in the market and bought for a set price, or be downloaded for free from the developer's site. About it's only difference when compared to VOCD is that it offers more flexibility when it comes to profiles. You can set as many as you like, and also set a "Priority" for them.

Now, to explain this I have to make an example. Assume that you have set up two profiles on SetCPU, #1 to set the max clock to 800MHz when the phone has less than 60% battery left, and #2 to set the max clock to 500MHz. The problem would be, if the phone is both under 60% bat and the screen is also turned off, which profile is SetCPU going to use? This is where "Priorities" come in. So, if profile #1 has a priority of 40, and #2 has a priority of 60, if #2's prerequisites are met then all profiles with lower priority than #2 (in this case, #1) are going to be disregarded. This gets around a lot of issues, and at first glance, it may look as a good concept, but I've also found it to be lackluster. It introduces some problems when it comes to profiling and (in my opinion) it is a bit of a mess when you want to change things.

Lastly, what I am using right now is CPU Tuner. It's a lot like SetCPU but it has a different (perhaps better?) way in managing profiles. It has a different concept, which consists of Triggers, Profiles and Virtual Governors.

So, starting off, a "virtual governor" is the same thing as the ordinary counterpart. It allows you to set the (actual) governor, and the powersave bias. I'm not entirely sure what the powersave bias does behind the scenes, but what it offers is choosing a balance between performance and battery life.

Afterwards, comes the profile. In a profile you can set a virtual governor, the min and max frequencies of the CPU, and services to enable/disable (those are Mobile Data, 2G/3G, Sync, WiFi, BT and Airplane mode). You can set as many as you like.

Lastly, the Triggers. The triggers are the ones supposed to set the actual profiles. How it works is, if your battery percentage is above a user set percentage, then the "Trigger" sets some rules. Those rules essentially define which profiles are going to be used for various states of the phone (these include when the phone is on battery, on AC (charging), when the screen is locked, when a call is in progress, and finally, when the battery is hot). Again, you can set as many as you like.

I find this concept to be a lot more versatile and easier to change when set up. It's a lot more tidy too. It may be a bit confusing at first but after spending about 10 minutes playing with it you'll figure it out.

Take the above information with the fact that I don't find any of the three options above bad in any way, my comments are personal opinion and you may not share it! So please try all three and decide for yourself!
