The problem is due to the scripts running simultaneous to the system booting. But (as I'm sure K900 has said before?) this makes diagnosing problems easier.

It should only happen when something needs to be moved or takes a long time, usually another reboot will fix it (in my experience). Unless your SD card is too slow, in which case you may have to do as mentioned above and move dalvik back to internal.

Now, maybe I missed something...I've read all the posts and I'm not sure if the answer has been posted. Or maybe I'm just missing something. My problem is I don't get the auto suggestions or auto correction except for a few words. I've gone through all the setting, I think, and even installed the Android keyboard and Latin dictionary apks. I'm getting no love.

Other than that, this ROM is exceptional.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. been running this rom for couple of days now, and the only thing i have noticed so far is that when the alarm goes off in the morning, the touch screen is not working to dismiss it or snooze it. i have to lock screen or press home, then go into the alarm to turn it off. anyone else noticed this?

Sounds strange. I use the alarm quite often and never had this problem.

Yeah, I had read that, but other posts seem to indicate no problems.

I'll sit patiently and wait.

Thanks Caga.

Hi,
I am using this ROM since Saturday and I must say it is the best ICS I have testet so far.
Here are some things that caught my eye:
1) Bluetooth sound volume very low. If I make a call using my hands-free whitch is my car radio the sound if very quiet.
2) GPS-accuracy is not the best. If I use Google Maps my car is constantly off road ;)
3) I am using NOVA-Launcher and I have noticed that it restarts very often.
4) Speaking of Google-Maps. If I start it at do nothing everything is fine but if I zoom in or something else the whole phone freezes and I have to pull battery :( And that is very sad :(((

It is really a great ROM and I am looking forward to see it getting better and better. It is nice to see you guys doing the work HTC isn't able to do ;)

Sorry for stealing the banner, I just couldnt' resist :p

    Features list

In this thread we can discuss the ROM, share impressions and screenshots and so on, but please, report bugs on Github.

    Important HBOOT note
AOKP works on Data++ HBOOT as of now, but I do not officially support it, so it might just exceed 180MB one day, and I will not publicly announce it because I honestly don't care. So please, stick to stock or custom HBOOT and make sure you have enough space on /system before flashing.

    Download
    All versions on min.us: http://minus.com/mbTSqS0sK
    GApps (from RootzWiki/goo-inside): http://wiki.rootzwiki.com/Google_Apps#Ice_Cream_Sandwich_.28Android_4.x.29
    Recommended A2SD script: mounts2sd 2.2.6 http://www.cxsr.eu/pubftp/index.php?dir=m2sd/
Do not use amarullz's data2sdx script. It causes bootloops with the way init.d scripts are handled in AOKP.
Flash ROM, then GApps (best without rebooting).
Switching from Sandvold's rom/CM9 could work without data wipe, but don't blame me when it crashes. Or just backup and restore.

Huge thanks to Sandvold, drewis, Evervolv and Team Kang people and everyone who reported bugs, tested and compiled to get ICS working on our devices. Without you guys, this could never have existed.

K900 is in the next built the play store problem fix?

    Yes.
@all: Looks like we're missing out build 41 too. I've found a guy who will maintain Supersonic and he is already working on merging the changes I've made. I still need to get someone to do the Inc, too. Once Bravo, Supersonic and Inc are all done and tested, we'll be bringing the changes upstream and move on to adding Passion/BravoC (if anyone wants to do those right now, PM me or highlight me on IRC), so for Milestone 6 we should have all the qsd8k family done. If we don't, I'll still do the final build for ICS on Bravo and the other devices are in their maintainers' hands, but I hope they will support me and do the last build even though it isn't official. Then we'll be looking at the changes JB brings (that shouldn't be too major, hopefully) and start working from there. I can't promise anything for JB, as it might require more work, but we'll do our best to deliver it to y'all kanglings.

Soooo. Good news: bravo is now an officially supported device and Roman will add a hack to fix lockscreen wallpapers/icons on our devices (also concerns HD2/N1). Bad news: no ETAs (and don't ask).

Phew. Finally got myself some time. Fixed non-HWA builds for now (I hope), gonna try to get a build 34+ kang done, then some HWA work. Hopefully I'll be able to get two device trees building, so you can choose HWA or no HWA.

Milestone 6 kind of confirmed for tomorrow, including the first version of tiered-init :)
