Well yeah I understand that lol....I'm currently running your 426 ( very successfully I might add ;) ) was just curious if it would be advantageous to flash newer or just sit tight til final build. BTW, thanks for your hard work on these !

Came from Cyan 7, followed instructions in first post, the phone automatically rebooted after I installed ths2. It seemed to be working though. I rebooted to recovery, installed Codename then gapps. Rebooted but the phone only boots into recovery. Ive tried to flash over and over again but it always boots into recovery.

Edit:
Got it installed had to go back to Cyanogen 7 then redo it. Think the problem was not wiping between THS and CNA.
My problem now is mobile data is not working.

Edit2:
Went with Kang and everything seems to work. Using Codename on my Galaxy Nexus, I'll try it again on fascinate when I can get data working.

I'm running 3/12 nightly without any "major" problems. Occasionally bootloop, and some minor fc's but they start back up no problem. Just lucky perhaps.

sent from my ICY CNA !

I really like CNA out of all the ICS Roms. But only build so far that seems to work well with my device is the "stevespears426" which I am more than happy with ! Keep up the great work !

sent from my ICY CNA !

I've been away for a few days and it looks like a few new builds have popped up(thanks guys). Is the newest 1.5.5 working well, 3g/wifi all that? Doesn't matter, I'll flash it anyway, cuz I just gotta have the latest & greatest action!!!
Just wonderin' about the difference between the 2 from the same date?
I only ask 'cuz the 1.5.5 came after the "unofficial" one?
You guys rock!!!
edit: tried 1.5.5, ixnay on the 3g for me! Went to the unofficial 1.5.0, seems fine!!! Oh, and dumb-ass me just noticed new features!! Very nice!!

Just put up a CNA 1.5.5 that I built. The one that was up the build bot started before we figured out the problem and it automatically uploads the zip to the website. This one will work I bet my developerhood on it..... wait I haven't been knighted yet..... it will work. :)

Now the real question is who has MMS working and who doesn't?

    Fascinate Specifics
-It seems like mms may be broken.
-This has the "Phantom Ring" work around please let me know if it works...
    9
Alright this is already getting out of hand. You can't just ask which ROM is better. People like different things. If I only built ROMs I use everyday I would be building 1 not 3. So flash it and try it out. For the love of all things android please lets keep the stupid questions to a minimum.

As for MMS It didnt work for me when I tested it. I am looking into it to try and find out why thats not working and if I find it there will be a fixed build posted.
    9
Yes but just because development has stopped isn't an excuse to leave users out in the cold.

I love how you say it like we owe you something.... Maybe you could give us a deadline to meet so we can make sure to release builds for you when it's convenient for you. If you want a ROM, learn to build it from source I have helped quite a few people in this forum learn how to build from source and port ROMs and I'm always willing to help. One thing I can stand though is people acting like the DEVs owe them something.... cuz we don't. as a matter of fact I dont even use my fascinate any more the only release I havent sold it is to test builds for you guys before I release, but you still see AOKP updates coming in and CM10 has nightles, weblexa is working MiUi JB, plus notta pops in with all kinda of weird stuff... if thats not enough google is your friend get to compiling.
    7
Stephan-I gotta ask; the Fascinate is really gettin on in age, and I just have to know why you are putting such great energy and great ROMS into this phone? it seems to me, you must know about its capacities in a way that is not normally known, but appreciated by us. I'm useing kang 27 w the latest glitch at 1.4 ghz and it completely keeps me from wanting any other phone. Thanks for all the work.

Because it's the devices we own, and people want it.

/signed. I for one couldn't be more grateful for the work that goes into making the Fascinate much more than it could have ever hoped to be otherwise, and just be grateful that we have all the options we do. Go bring your false sense of entitlement to Apple, where it's welcomed.
