I am a newbbie on tablets(2 days..)I Just flashed tabooney 3.0.1 rom(it seems fantastic) but I have two questions
:Is a wifi fix needed with this rom
: Which agps patch do you use for faster locking???

Working CIFS

With the help from Vache, I was able to compile md4.ko which is required for the CIFS module to work properly.

Here is the link to all kernel modules including md4.ko and cifs.ko
http://fileshost.fr.mu/download/121/Modules_ICS_kernel.zip.html

You will need to load the md4.ko manually like this:

HTML:

#!/system/bin/sh
insmod /system/lib/modules/md4.ko
insmod /system/lib/modules/cifs.ko

I noticed with this rom that screen instead of going to standby when i just pust push the power button it powers off the phone....not a similar problem with stock rom...Any suggestion???

../system/etc/init.d Just create a file without .* you can call it 04modules and on boot it will load that modules! (maybe a similar file is yet in that directory, so just edit it!)

Since the devs fixed the boot issues, I've not had one SOD from either of the ICS ROM's in this forum and I've tried each o fthem for a few days each. If anything, I would've seen a SOD during this.

Why don't you try formatting system + data + cache + flexrom then flashing from scratch again.

Just sayin....

Also, after a sod, turn the tablet back on as you normally would, then shut it down normally using the power menu, then boot up again.

Strangely this solves the sod for me for much much longer peiords. I use to get them almost each time tablet went to sleep, now I rarely get them

Where can I find the SOD-Fix.zip? Looked but no luck.

I have wiped /system, /data, /cache, /dalvik-cache and /flexrom. Installed ROM and then wifi fix. Get SOD repeatedly.

Am I doing something wrong?

Running CWM 5. Came from pre-rooted stock 3.2.1 to this ROM.

It does not matter. You can load it even manually from your terminal. I put it to /system/lib/modules and have it loaded with Tasker and the Locale Execute plugin as:

su -c 'sh /system/lib/modules'

on device boot.
