Sanik90,
Boot into recover and wipe your cache.
There are plenty of people who have had this problem. A quick search within this thread will point to lots of (the same) fixes.

Have you recognized the new speedmod ics kernel?

I'm slightly reluctant about this LPS. Cos since flashing it LP3 has been the best release for me. Still I guess that's what nandroid is for lol.

My bad .. I ment the region code .. it's a 3 digit thingie .. You can see it in kies I think ..
For example .. I have a nordic one which is called NEE .. You must have something else .. Look at the firmwares on first page .. the OFX one for KE2 .. It's has all the region codes listed next to it
Try looking at skywanker.net all hotlinks are disabled and you have to go and browse for the files you want.

Paw, is it possible to setup a landing page for each package? i.e the download link will be on a single page?
this gets the best of both worlds, easy for users and you get traffic and at least some income from ads ect. i know very basic html and havent used it in some time.
i know CF uses a similar method for his root kernels.
Installed LP3 and removed all of the Samsung hubs. Installed email app and exchange services. Extracted email app and exchange services 4.1 from a galaxy tab ROM and put it in the phone and mail is ok, even have push on hotmail. Battery has improved a lot

Any chance of posting this so I can see if it resolved my exchange email problems?

1. I have changed the format with which I compress the archives. They are now .7z self-extracting files that have .exe at the end. This is because this compresses the files more and so makes for faster upload and downloading and also makes it easier for you to extract the package. Just double click and it will extract the .tar package for you without the need to use any program to unpack.
2. Also feel free to translate the guides to any other language and link to the files elsewhere, you don't need to ask for permission. All I ask is that you include a link to XDA-Developers in your write up.

Carrier branded firmwares have been moved to a separate thread and can be found here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1113928

MAC Users I have found this utility that can handle .exe files to extract the archives called The Unarchiver. Link: http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html

Thanks to Pulsar_S2 I have now been able to separate the component section of the thread into separate posts to make things less complicated. The first post has the tutorial and guide and the firmwares have been moved to separate posts right below. I hope it's a better layout.

Please do not post links to packages from other places in this thread. It will help to avoid a lot of confusion when helping others when I know about the packages, when it's from elsewhere I cannot know what has been done to them and will not help people who use stuff I don't know about.

Do not ask me questions about SamMobile, packages from SamMobile or from other places. How do you expect me to know about stuff from other websites?
These questions will be ignored

I've started to package the tarball archives with the md5 hash to maintain the integrity of the packages. Just treat the tarballs in the same way as you would without the .md5 at the end. DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE ARCHIVE

The quick root guide has been updated to make use of a much simpler tool to achieve root without the need for Odin or insecure kernel
20/01/2012
I've started to use 7Zip archives instead of self-executable ones to accommodate members using Macs and Linux as their primary OS. You can get 7Zip for free and it handles multiple formats
This guide is for rooting the device if you don't want to use CF-Root or another custom kernel to root!
You can also root your device by simply flashing a root kernel. If you want to do this then stop reading this guide and follow the root guide for the kernel you wish to use.

All packages below this point have the old bootloader so you can safely reset the binary counter with a Jig.
If you've already flashed a full package from elsewhere or updated using KIES and cannot reset your binary counter using the Jig just flash this package in the PDA or Bootloader section of Odin to replace the bootloaders and then you can reset the counter: Mod Edit: Link Removed
Here is the new Gingerbread bootloader tarball if you want to flash it back after resetting your binary counter: Mod Edit: Link Removed

These packages below are not official firmware packages, they are Frankenstein package created due to demand for Firmware with different CSC and modems and also leaked firmware packages. KIES will not recognise the firmware so you won't be able to update to new firmware using KIES unless you flash back to a firmware meant for your device first. Otherwise there will always be Odin to use for updates
For MultiCSC packages you can change between csc by typing *#272*Device IMEI# into the dial pad and selecting the csc of your choice and press install. It will reset the device.
This will wipe your device!
Reports from users that this firmware has a few bugs so I would urge you to consider not flashing it
Used XXKI3 modem in this package as I compared it to XXKI4 and whilst performance was similar on O2 network XXKI3 was more efficient when it came to battery life.

This is still BETA firmware so don't moan if everything doesn't work. It comes with old bootloader and is non-wipe
