Great work, tytung!

I installed 2.0 over 1.6 using CWM as follows:
- clear cache (it's used in flashing process otherwise not used)
- flash ROM
- clear Dalvik cache (gets rid of any old applications that are left over)
- fix permissions (just in case. I don't know if this really makes a difference)

The ROM is performing perfectly, The main difference I've noticed is that web pages seem to load a lot faster.

FWIW, I have a 220M system partition. I made it extra large to allow the OS to work around some bad blocks (11 of them) that I know I have. I have no additional "helpers" like A2SD or any custom settings. Just "vanilla" tytung ROM.

Hardware decoding bug

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but on this latest V2.0 rom, when playing a video from a mobile video site which opens through the native video player (or other video players that use hardware decoding), the video is garbled. Switching to software decoding fixed the issue, however.

Also, playing video directly on the browser by showing the site's "desktop mode" works just fine.

Anyways, great rom and thanks for all the hard work!

I'm stuck at the boot animation. Wanted to try this ROM, so I did a clean install but i'm not getting in Android. The boot animation keeps looping, I tried it 3 times and each time 15 minutes.

What can be the problem?

Me too! I have 200MB partition, should be more than enough. I even did full Task29, reflash MAGDLR and everything!

I can fully install Xylograph's rom, but not tytung's.

Maybe sound stupid but it is needed to turn on "force gpu on 2d applications" under dev options or not?

I have some problems that I can't connect 3G network.
I checked my APN setting is correct and it's turned on 3g network.
But I can't connect web, account login, etc...

I guess my phone is working only 2G network.
On top of status bar, it shows network status's icon is 3g and grey colored... not blue color.

Plz, give me some advices about this problem.
(Other all recent roms are working well in my device)

Blessings to you Tytung and all posters to forum both the experts and the regulars like myself. This ROM is working perfect on my T mobile hd2. I wiped dalvick cache and did an upgrade over v 1.6.All is well the ROM is super fast and stable. Thanks a lot tytung. I wish I could contribute a bit but I am living in Kingston Jamaica and don't have access to Paypal services. I wish the ROM had a theme chooser though

clean installed 2.0 yesterday, has been working perfectly for me since.

the only thing i've noticed is that some media players like MX player don't want to use the H/W mode to decode video. should this be the case now that HWA is working?

Yep, only thing not working for me so far is the talk to text. When I tried to search Bing via voice it told me that it could not access the microphone.

Is this a known issue with 2.0 or am I missing something in the settings?

EDIT: I haven't received a call since I upgraded so I hope the microphone isn't completely out right now.

i've been recieving and making calls since upgrading so i don't think the microphone is not working at all, unless you'rs just got really unlucky :)

Anybody please respond to the above?

Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA

i've got the same issue regarding the search on XDA. i don't know why, but i find the easiest way to deal with it is to just choose advanced search and go from there.

The boot animation runs longer than normal. I think that's why people are complaining. Wait at least 5 minutes before you jump to conclusions.

The lockscreen is able to go into a landscape mode. When it does, it does not fit the screen. is there a way to disable this?

Great rom, the only problem I found isn't rom related. ;)

I used the Battery Percentage Mod as mentioned on the first page, and this modification is not completly working on HWA V2.0, just see post 5260 and 5268.

great rom
the only bug so far- threr is no any volume controls
doesn't work not for phone and not for media

after few reboots started to work

Settings->Sound->Volume Panel

1)Single - will give single volume control like default.
2)Expandable -> will give single volume with Settings button to go in expanded sound settings which has all volume toggles.
3)Expanded ->will give all sound settings

tried playing with apn settings didnt work.

I have some problems that I can't connect 3G network.

        • improved the data transfer speed of the SD card almost twice. (about 8MB/s write and 10MB/s read using a class 6 SD) (new in r1)
    • V1.0 (Jan. 9, 2012)
