Did you flash the JB bootloader? People said it really helps with boot times.

I did not change my bootloader and my phone loaded just fine.....

What recovery are you using? People have had issues with certain recoveries and JB.

I am running CWM, non touch and never had an issue flashing JB. Make sure you wipe data/factory reset. then wipe cache, then wipe dalvik. Reflash the Rom after that. Then walk away from your phone and give it some time.....

I'm using TWRP. Performed multiple resets, waited 20+ minutes, hell I even ODIN'd and retried. I'll flash nontouch CWM and give it a go.

I found that CWM is the only recovery that does not have any issues....
You sir, are a scholar and a saint. CWM worked beautifully and my phone is loving the sweet sweet Jelly Bean. Thank you.

Thank you for the AOSP 4.1.1 Rom. Works like a charm. One quick question: is there a fix for the google now voice search yet?

i had to go into settings for Google now, and download language for offline recognition before it would work for me (on a different ROM, but that might be what you need)

I installed this rom with the apps from http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20120717-signed.zip and i have found the rom to work very well. Kind of odd, bringing up google voice search seems to bring up a version of google now, and the camera still fc's if you try for video. Also, i had a radio hang that required a restart once. Battery under settings was telling me that the radio wasn't connected 38% of the time, but now its down to 8% which is better than the 13% i was getting on stock 4.0.4. Also, even though i installed the above gapps, i still had to download gmail, and a few others from the market, which was fine with me.

Google wallet has the yellow device unsupported banner above it. not sure why that is there when it wasn't there on stock 4.0.4

rom updated

When I realized how many downloads the ROM got I thought I should update to fix some of the little quirks I never fixed. There's something to be said for pure AOSP and I've tried to keep the ROM un-messed with as much as possible.

July 24, 2012 Update:
- Updated ROM to Build JRO03H
- Fixed Camera to Video switching, no FCs
- GPS should be working ok
- Fixed Navigation turn by turn street voice

Thanks :)

Any reason why mine is saying "R" instead of "3G"?

I'm pretty sure the R means you're roaming for some reason.

EDIT: You might want to go into Mobile Network Settings / System Select and try toggling Home only and see if that makes any difference. I haven't seen this before myself.

Did that already. Its in a area where I know for a fact I am on a VZW network and under 3G.

Very strange. Either it's really roaming, which it doesn't seem like it is, or the phone doesn't see Verizon as it's home ID. I don't know if reflashing the radio would help or not. So this wasn't happening before on another ROM? I honestly don't see how the ROM would do it, it doesn't contain radio firmware.

The things I would try are reflash radio, factory reset and/or try another ROM (I'm not thinking this would matter), or bring it back to stock and go from there. I'm sure others would have their own ideas but those are the things I would try if it were me.

I've had no problems with having the R. I get 3g with no problems ( my area doesnt have 4g yet). I've had no problems at all with this ROM except the t-cdma 64 in the drop down but I fixed that. Thanks for building it from source. Keep up the awesome work.

Awesome ROM. Only issue I have run into is after flashing gapps I did not get the double gallery and camera apps which in turn my gallery is not syncing to picasa. Also settings in the gallery won't show up. It just gives me a blank page. Besides that its running super smooth.

Thanks.

Yeah, I noticed they got rid of the duplication at the expense of the sync in the last GAPPs also. If you want to try an earlier one like gapps-jb-20120717-signed.zip you might get sync back, and then just disable the smaller gallery. One of the things the last GAPPs did was fix turn by turn street navigation voice but I had already fixed that in the ROM so it shouldn't matter if the earlier GAPPs is used.

Edit: I just confirmed by reflashing that 0717 GAPPs does has sync and settings working in Gallery.

AOSP JellyBean 4.3. Official Source hot off the AOSP servers. This ROM is AOSP. The only files that were changed or added were to make things nicely functional.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words, technical help, suggestions, and for using the ROM!

This ROM is closely related to builds I make for Toroplus, Mako, Manta, Maguro and Grouper.
