Anyone know how to set Google Now to open by double tapping the home button?
I tried home2shortcut but no go.
I think that the disabling of S Voice double tap mod may be blocking it.
Anyone know the fix?

Home2 Shortcut works for me on 1.7. Haven't had any issues.
Make sure you use Home2 Shortcut as the default Home launcher as instructed on step 4 in the app.
Steps
1. Choose Voice Search
2. Choose double tap speed
3. Choose TouchWiz or preferred launcher.
4. Tap Close button... Choose Home2 Shortcut as Default home launcher.

Google Now Voice Dailer sucks especially while trying to use Bluetooth car kit but is set as Default and can't figure out how to clear it on S3. Anyone know how to change the default voice dialer on ICS on S3? I've searched and searched for a fix but no luck.
Hopefully someone on this famous thread would know.

***just realized you said your on 1.6. Haven't tried it on that Rom but just double check you followed the instructions.

Ok, it got it to work but it's initiating the application on a single, not double tap of the home key. I tried adjusting double tap speed with every option but no change.
Anyone else run into this, if so what's the fix?

Looks like it was a conflict with agile lock pro.
1st I had to make sure that the "launch S Voice by double pressing home key" option is selected in S Voice.
I initially selected agile lock as launcher for step 3 but that didn't work, selecting go launcher or TW did and still allows agile lock functionality
I do notice a bit of a lag on home key press but everything else seems to be working properly.
Thanks for your help!

Is there an update to go from 1.6 to 1.7?
What is the easiest way to do this? I hate upgrading a Rom, and losing all of my information.
I hate re-installing my apps etc. Any suggestions? Thanks

There is no update, just the full rom. I believe phantom recommended a clean wipe. Since I've personally had issues with advanced restore getting back too much junk, I prefer to backup and restore my apps using rom toolbox pro. You can backup and restore all ur apps with their settings, old msgs, etc, phone log, accounts, etc, all in under an he with a couple taps :)

How do you backup/restore Accounts? I would gladly purchase the app if it can restore my work email account. It's a pain to re put in all that info for exchange.

Restoring apps

I flashed this rom over top of a stock rooted rom. So my copy of Titianium backup would have had the apps that got removed like, Flipbook or Media Hub. But when my apps restored none of those apps restored. I went in TB and looked at back up and restore and none of those apps are there. How is that possible?

Just download and unzip the "removed apps" file in the OP. Pick and choose what apps you want.

I meant to say the setting touch button next to the home button.

Gotcha!
The benefit in having Google Now with the home button set on double click is that it automatically wakes the phone and bypasses my agile lock (skipping a few steps and getting right to the search at hand)

it doesn't seem to use much juice but you can try using "gsam battery monitor" from the play store to monitor what's draining your battery life.

Just flashed this ROM since yesterday, haven't tried the battery cuz I made a four hour phone call today and over 100 txt and the battery drained after 6 and half hours.
But some noticeable questions:

It's still sprint boot animation not the In'tl version. Is it for everyone else?

Camera in call not working.

Volume down button to take picture not working.

The build number is still *$#*@*#lg8 not blazer titled.

Are these applied for you guys as well?

    2) Nandroid
    3) Wipe Data/Factory Reset

Bug** Sometimes fails to boot completely on reboot, to fix hold down powerbutton until powered off then power back on, repeat if necessary (usually fixes itself on the third power on/off, leading me to believe it is a permission error) (this only happens on 1st reboot)

Dont hold your breath. This rom is rapidly expiring. Hasn't been an update in a month.

This sentence is wrong in so many ways.

    1) Your implying software expires.
    2) Does a ROM need to be updated every other day to be "good".
    3) More updates, more bugs
    4) I apologize for having a life, not everyone can sit at their computer all day everyday.
