Yeah, I believe it was home button+ power button, at least that's how it worked on gb on my gs2. Pics is volume down+ power.

Actually..
i just learned something new..

To take a screenshot on a galaxy player without an app..
You tap back + home simultaneously.

Just tried it, it works. lol

I've been using an app. the whole time.

Last I checked I was told "there is no way to do it on a galaxy player without an app"..
and all my searches never turned up anything, until now.

So there ya go..
if you don;t want to use an app..
tap back + home.

I much prefer the app though.

Must only be for the 5.0; does nothing on the 4.0

Nah, I have the 4.0 also.

Try "Home + back + home" really quick.
Should work.
I did it a bunch last night after I figured it out...
but it's not as "accurate" as an app. lol

Sometimes it works right away, sometimes not... lol

Maybe klin removed the screenshot apk from icyfusion, because I can't get it. Oh well, I have the old version of screenshotER that doesn't have the watermark (fortunately read the reviews and didn't update it) and it works flawlessly

ah yeah that's a possibility.
My 4.0 is not even rooted.

If the app you're using now ever craps the bed.. (or updates) lol
Ive been using this for many months and it works flawlessly.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/...5kcm9pZC5zY3JlZW5jYXB0dXJlc2hvcnRjdXRmcmVlIl0.

On my Galaxy S II, it's home and power, and on most ics and jb roms, it's volume down and power. Weird though, on my sister's player 4, it's back and power, and it works.

Hmm, I am having trouble with my notifications. As you can see from the screenshot, I am trying to make the notifications transparent black, with white text. I used uot kitchen for the text, and while you can see it changed most of the notifications to white font, some apps like play music and amazon app store still show black text, which is impossible to read. Haven't found alot from Google, but I have managed to conclude these apps use their own font colors instead of the system's. What I want to know is this; there has to be something somewhere that tells these apps to use light or dark text, because on my dad's galaxy tab 2 (that has a black notification panel), the same apps that are showing black text for me are showing white text for him! So my question is; has anyone found what to edit?
