For now no OTA updates, possibly more stable versions available. I wanted to use as a base in CM10 is the future of Android, CM9 soon be left behind and most people want to experiment with Jelly Bean, but soon I'll get a nice CM9 development Xperience S

for now that option is not available, but will work to port it to Jelly Bean in future versions of SlimTW5 ROM

WoooooooooW your room is the best on the net i looooove it, but pleaaaaase can you add galaxy s2 music player in v 3.0, it would be nice for me.

after slim rom dis is d only rom i have been waiting for :) works better than nexus build, battery life a little poor wid siyahs but will test wid dark night and other kernels and report back.well done

Some feedback...

...I've eagerly wanted to share with the author of this awesome ROM.

Absolutely the fastest and most stable JB ROM I've tried this far...and loving every experience more and more ! Well almost...an odd behaviour have occurred when charging the phone. And this is the only problem I've had. When I connect the charger to the phone, this being the charger connected to the outlet on the wall, which means 230 V AC, the phone indicate it's being charged...the screen's shutting down as it should after the time out period chosen...

How ever, when and if I "wake" the phone's screen, the phone still connected to the outlet, the screen shows me the "enter PIN code" screen! Ok, I can live with that so I enter my PIN-code...which is dismissed as being the wrong code?! As I look at the upper right corner the symbol tells me that the phones not connected at all...to anything. With this I mean that the SIM card is shown as not present, which is SO wrong.

A restart solved this issue.

Being a new member here I found out the a 10 post minimum level is to be achieved before being able to post in the developer threads. That prevented me to share this issue until now. Upon waiting to reach the sufficient level I posted in the Q&A and were helped with this when they pointed me to try another Kernel, since these guys suspected that the problem described above was a Kernel issue.

And they were right :) I installed Siyah 4.1.1 and the problem is gone.

I hope this piece of information could come in handy for you.

Hi mate, I really like your ROM. For the moment, I'm using RR JB, however I plan to download yours. I was wondering if your ROM supports multi DPI LCD density, as I use all of the ROMs with a density of 200 DPI. Thanks.

Great ROM

Hello,

I use your ROM for 3 days now and it works very good. Thank you for your work :good:.

I've found one issue, when I use auto brightness the display is to dimm. I can't find the "light sensor values" so I cannot adjust the brightness values.

Is it possible to add this option in v3?

    Installation

- Copy the rom and gapps in the internal memory of the phone
- Reboot into recovery mode
- Wipe data, wipe cache and wipe dalvick cache in advance options
- Format data, format system and format cache
- Install zip from sd card
- Choose zip from internal sd card
- Flashing the ROM.zip

    SlimTW 5 Jelly Bean upload time aprox 2 hrs, Internet connection is failing and the upload is very slow, this I can take.

    if version 3.1 will be based on new version of JB, but I can not give exact date because I completely integrate the topic in the frameworks-res and APKs, and takes a little more time to detail images .png and leave with the fewest bugs. But I will try to expedite the work to have it completed as soon as possible.

    Cool ROM, great job!

    My SGS2 has brickbug (EMMC_CAP_ERASE failure) and I share my installation steps.

    To check your phone install the GotBrickbug.

    Important: install a safe kernel before wipe! Steps:

    - Copy Siyah-s2-v4.1.1-CWM.zip, SlimTW5-JellyBean-v2.0.zip and gapps-jb-20120724-signed.zip in the internal storage
    - Reboot in recovery mode
    - Install Siyah-s2-v4.1.1-CWM.zip (safe) kernel
    - Goto advanced -> reboot recovery
    - Phone has rebooted with Siyah kernel, now wipe data/facory reset
    - Install SlimTW5-JellyBean-v2.0.zip
    - Restart phone, boot normally
    - When phone has started need to reboot again in recovery mode
    - Wipe data/factory reset again
    - Install gapps-jb-20120724-signed.zip
    - Goto advanced menu -> fix permissions
    - Reboot phone and will be appear the account setup screen

    To enable usb mass storage:
    - Install a terminal emulator from google play
    - In terminal:
