If you add an exchange account this will happen. Have you added a corporate mail account?
I had added my live mail id and it is showing under corporate mail account. What should I do?
Did it, Still gray. Anything else I can do. I'm using VPN; is it causing the problem?
Yes, VPN makes it mandatory to use pin, password or pattern. Slide unlock, faceunlock are disabled if VPN is used

I had that very same problem with my SGS3 after logging in to the VPN of a university I visited. I had to delete the certificates related to the VPN login, otherwise it won't work.
