try using wallpaper wizardrii app..
free app on playstore..
read its description..i think it can be a temporary answer to your problems about on how to fit a pic as your wallpaper..

Yep i use wallpaper wizardrii it works great but you will have to extract wallpapers:
Use root explorer and go to System/Apps/ParanoidWallpapers.apk press and click on VIEW now go to res/drawable_nodpi and there you have them just click on any and extract

- 1st ROM: PA 2.10
- 2nd ROM: RR JB v3.0.6
- Kernel: Dorimanx Kernel V5.76A
- Next 2nd ROM: SlimRom 2.3

Hi!
i've just updated PA from 1.992 to 2.1 and my system camera app looks completely different now!
I want to try to change the dpi settings of the camera but i cannot find the app in the application list :(
can anyone help me?

Camera is part of galley now.change of gallery

Can I ask question (probably a noobish one).
Swapping the apps from the recent apps page (holding down the home button) will still close/exit them from the memory?
Because in the settings I can't find the option that killed the opened app when holding the back button (like it was in 1.5)

Yes, for what I know, it closes from the memory.
And the options is there. The last one in developer settings.

Oh thank you! I didn't see the option!! (Actually I didn't scroll until the end of the page due to the other available options - I didn't believe that the "hold back" option will be there)

GUYS !

I love paranoid android so much, but I have problem, I can´t install ROMs (tried to fix that see: http://xdaforums.com/show....php?t=1870567 )

BUT I can restore backups!

So I want to ask you, gentlemen, if someone of you can just flash a fresh copy of PA 2+ and make a backup for me. Then upload it to somewhere.

In return I can offer my (very good I think) collection of wallpaper.

PLEASE, I´m going crazy that I can´t have this beauty on my SGSII.

But seriously.. :

Does anyone else have the issue where the camera always gives you a screen of death whenever you take a picture.. ? I always have to pull the battery out and turn it back on.. its happened for a couple releases now and its happened for me on 160, 180 and 240 DPI.. bit my gallery says gallery3d.apk iunno isn't it supposed to be gallery 2.apk?

Working fine: gallery3d at 142dpi and 640px

i went for now back to 1.992 because with 2,0 and 2.1 i constantly had that pin code screen, pretty much everytime i got my phone from my pocket
with 1.992 i don't have that

But now they say this also doesn't happen if the Ril is in sync with GetRil app?
is this true? i can flash to 2.1 again and try it but if it still fails i have to go back to 1.992 again, all quit annoying.
Removing the sim code is not an option for me.

oviously:) codeworkx mention that that in cm9 thread that they need to move to cm10 cause cm10 is way way better than cm10 even without hw fully working:)

    PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT. This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.

    PER-APP-COLOR, Paranoidandroids newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

    • RECOVERY: FACTORY RESET IF YOU WERE USING ANOTHER ROM!
    • RECOVERY: Install Rom: Download
    • RECOVERY: Install Gapps, ALWAYS-EVEN FOR UPDATES: Download (find the latest one that carries the "jb" tag)
    • RECOVERY: Wipe Cache Partition
    • RECOVERY: Wipe Dalvik Cache
    • Reboot and enjoy

    • If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
    • 1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
    • 2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
    • 3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
    • ... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
    • ... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
    • ... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

    Sorry clearly missunderstand that. I thought original section is whatever gets something built from scratch, as my OTA app does. However, thanks for the correction :)
