I dont know have theard about this mod but has read one theard say about it ,and try flash but not change then I edit small things of them ,reflash and it work ok , if x8 has it,i will close theard if dont I will upload and share

is there a way you can resize the notification icons that show on top left side of the status bar they show very small please, everything else works like a charm.

maybe editing the apk itself will let you do that
