restore old rom with nandroid, backup your data, then format system / wipe data factory reset, etc... before flash.

It decided to boot into recovery after all so i was able to wipe data and stuff again then flash it fine. I think i forgot to wipe dalvik cache before but i dont know if that caused it to error. Thanks anyway :).

Synchronization of contacts does not work. Email and appointments, works well.

Anyone have a solution

Having a lot of apps installed that start a service at boot will cause lag, no matter how good the ROM.

I use Autostarts to control them.

Downloading XB now. Hopefully it cures my battery drain issues.

Keen to see how fast it is as well. Slim Bean seems to have slowed down for me after a few days of use.

Been using XB for a few hours now. When I receive a call/SMS it doesn't seem to vibrate. Vibrate when ringing is ticked. Also in messaging settings I selected to always vibrate. Any ideas?

Edit: Fixed. Adjusted vibrate level in semaphore app.

I post last week about having problems with x-bean 3 with self reboot and programs crash and lag. I suspect it was the Apex Launcher so I install Nova now and it seems everything is fine now. Just sharing my experience.

Is it possible to incorporate the brightness toggle widget in the next build? I am referring to the brightness where you slide it. It is not the one where you slide across the status bar.

    Hey Guys :)
As many of you asked for an update on 4.2.x, I may have to disappoint you. There are some quite good reasons for me to pause this project for a (short) while:
    1. My laptop is kind of broken, but I hope to get a new PC soon with better specs than my old laptop :D
    2. I am very busy with something that some call "Real Life" but I assume to get more time for developing in the next 1-2 months.
    3. V 3.0 can be called stable I think, and so I will discontinue my work on all my 4.1.x based Roms. But this does not mean I stop developing. For the moment 4.2.x is still "unstable" and "slow" for most users compared to android versions < 4.2.x, so there will be no 4.2.x based Roms from my side aswell for now.
As soon as I solved most of those problems, I will continue X-Bean and/or Remics Roms. Furthermore I will try to make a version of X-Bean for the Nexus 7 aswell.. So, there is some more to come, but not in close future :(
