Which kernels can be used with this ROM? Phenomenal or only the included and temasek kernel?
I hope to get a lower minimum screen brightness, since I think the current low setting is too high. Is it possible to change with kernel? Or is it rom based?

Found it in Settings, where a new lower level could be chosen.

My p990 device just got cm10 so it probably will take away my attention for awhile.
Is someone using Camera 1.63 mod with "gapps-jb-picasa-20121011-signed.zip"?
Is it possible to have both: this camera mod and picasa album in gallery?
At the moment I can use only one of them (camera mod or picasa album - not both)

Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your work bro. Been using this ROM since the first version and I can't seem to find another that's better.
Who say only for awhile? U need to build more for P990. Cos it too long u had stop ur production...

As it is impossible to use both together and I also need to have Picasa in my Gallery app I make use of the Picasa Gapps from goo.im/gapps and install Camera ICS from Play Store. Now I have a 8 MP camera and have Picasa in the Gallery.
I still really hope that the official Gapps also will have Picasa soon.

Sure hope that it will consume that much power, seems like I am loosing battery (Uninstalled a lot of crap from the installation by Root uninstaller) But after 16 hours use, down to 50% power, on stock I would be @ 75% Should ASOP not be more batteryfriendly?

What cm file manager? I don't see it anywhere in the commits UNLESS its pushed thru without going into gerrit (sometimes it happens, eg pushing aosp stuffs into cm source, etc)
Anyway,

This is an UNOFFICIAL build of CM11 ( CyanogenMod 11 ) for i9300 and by NO means this is my ROM. I am just compiling from CM Source and 100% credits goes to TeamDouche, the device maintainers of i9300 Codeworkx/XpLoDWilD and all other coders who contributed to CyanogenMod.
This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in. If you can't handle some things possible being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.

1. Disable FAST DORMANCY if your telco doesn't support it. There is an app in Play Store called "FastDormancy Toggle" for i9300.
2. Disable location services in Settings. Enable on adhoc basis is recommended.
3. Check your Gtalk - Logout if not in use.
Those troubled with wifi wakelocks like "wlan_rx_wake" and/or "wlan_ctrl_wake", pls try the following:-
- use a static IP instead of DHCP
- Change wireless network encryption method, change wifi channel, instead of using auto baseband use only 2.4 or 5GHz baseband (Wi - Fi - advanced - Wi - Fi frequency band)
- turn off uPNP in router/AP
