OK, so I thought this little post may be helpful for those experiencing the "android.process.media has stopped" error. This stops gallery, camera, music and Gmail apps for me.
I got this after clearing all user and system apps cache from titanium backup. Running SlimICS on I9000 but give it a try on your phone. Nothing to lose
Here's what to do (this may not work for you):
Open titanium backup
Find "DRM protected.." process.
Freeze process.
Wipe data
Defrost.
Find any apps that were affected, use the same steps above. Reboot the phone.
Enjoy.
