hey everyone!
i hope by release date they gonna get the slow charging fixed, otherwise we gonna hear alot of people complaining here including. me.
Can you elaborate, where is this slow charging issue raised? I'm sure it's capable of taking anywhere up to 2A on the USB port from an AC charger.
Is charge time really that much of an issue?

The slow charging problem is due to the micro USB connector. it is not capable to deliver more then 4-5 W, witch is enough for a phone but not for a tablet ( 10" ) that's why Samsung, asus and other tablet makers don't use it...

Yep, that's the price you pay for having a standard USB charger.<br />

Google did say that it CAN charge faster using the pogo pins in the dock connector, so there's that.
I'm assuming there will be a keyboard dock that will use the pogo pins and will have a charger
A dock would be really cool,

Yes you would think so but it has been a while since the N7 released and there is still nothing at all to use those pogo pins. They are really slow to come out with acc to support such a popular device. You can only hope they do better with the N-10 or you might be stuck with usb charging only.
Have you ever seen a 7" keyboard ?

A slow charge also prolongs the life of the internal battery, no? If I remember correctly, charging my phone over the AC adapter does it fast but the battery gets "worn out" quicker than charging it over the slower PC-to USB-to device charging method. Am I right?

Yeah seen the small keyboards. They are not for me but a nice dock with a charger to use the pogo pins would have been nice for the N7.Any usb or bluetooth keyboard will work fine but why put pins for charging on a device if months later there is still no use for them?Kind of like buying a BLT sandwich and hoping the bacon will come along a few months later.
