First thing first:

Now Go and VOTE for Your Favourite Developer!

Second:
I've installed the 28th Nov build on top of 17th Nov one (with cache and dalvik) after manually mounting the SD card and taking a full nandroid backup...
Everything went smooth, took 2 reboots (automatically done) and the inherent 4-5 minutes required by the applications being upgraded.
After the boot the first impression was that the system was somehow sluggish, but that was quickly changed after making the "usual", non-sticky, optimisations (limit the number of concurrent apps to 4, optimise databases, kill whatever i don't really use but don't really want to remove/freeze/uninstall) etc.

The build works GREAT, memory consumption is roughly around 60-65% (Lightning Launcher does a great job in this direction), Opera is back from the dead, the stock camera captured my windows BSOD perfectly and i also managed to get a full panorama. GPS, compass, proximity and button backlight...working perfectly, as usual.

Fully recommended :)

Sorry what you mean with "optimise databases" exactly? Is there a setting for that? Don't remember it and i don't have the defy with me now.. (service)
Tx!

Unfortunatelly..no, i use a 3rd party app called Android Tuner which lets me do...well, pretty much ANYTHING. Except sleep - it's sleep deterrent:D (usually when you need to solve those wakelocks problems)

It did not work for me...
I was on CM10-20121118-NIGHTLY-mb526 everything was fine until I flash the last nightly.
I have lost my google account on my defy, so i decided to flash the gapps. But it was the same.
I went back to the 20121118 Nightly with wipe cache and dalvik but it did not work.
So i have done Wipe data/factory reset and reflash the nightly 28 with gapps...
And now:
- home button doesn't work.
- play store doesn't work.
- google sync doesn't work.
- lockscreen doesn't work.
- browser doesn't work.
- I have no keyboard.

And I did not make backup.....

Latest night build 4.1.2 is working for me great but. I am experiencing random reboots every 2 or 3 days when somebody calls me. I have installed this build over older one. Wipe dalvik & cache. Before this build I have never experienced this kind of reboots. Waiting for next build 4.1.2 or 4.2

Edit: sorry I missed that 28 build is up. Going to install and check

From 11/18 build on, 64GB cards seem to be mishandled!

I have posted this before, but my posts, as usual, got lost amongst a sea of other posts. Anyway, something seems to have been introduced (or, rather, left unfinished) in the 11/18 build, which was kept the same way in the 11/28 one: my NTFS formatted 64GB card seems to be unmounted to most of applications, such as camera, gallery, alarms, notifications, ringtones, play store, play music, connected music player. Nevertheless, I can lauch applications residing in the card, and Total Commander accesses it without any problems, at all. So, I'm, once again, back to the 11/17 build. ,

At least this time, please, anyone with suggestions to overcome this?

the new build is good..not fast though.

For. God. Sake. Want speed? Downgrade to Froyo or Éclair or buy an Dual Core phone!

I see a lot of people complaining about Linaro, that without it, the build is slow. That's, just the ******** placebo effect. Linaro just gave us problems. Problems that all users complained about, saying that it was Quarx fault, when it was only our fault by asking him to do this. So, is your build slow? Go back to CM7. I don't have problems with slowness. It's not fluid as CM10 on the Motorola Atrix, but hell, it's the price we pay for having something that we are NOT SUPPOSED to have. (For who don't get: Jelly Bean, Custom Kernel, Jelly Bean 4.2 & etc.)

Sorry for the... rage.

-------------------------------------
By the way, I'm having problems like when I "dock-out" my phone from the DeskDock, it sometime says "Clock has closed." (Force Quit in a technical language.)

Someone more?

Its been 12 hours since i flashed the latest version and i must say i didnt see any change in performance. I then flashed the jellyx kernel posted by a member and chnged i/o and governors and my defy is working awesome. Stop whining about swiftness. What do you expect from a 1000mhz arm7 processor? Lightning speed?

Finally someone that get it.

By the way, doing some research I noticed that most of the people reporting problems to run 720p videos, are people trying to run MKV 10bit/8bit which is a bit impossible to our processor and GPU. Want to run these kind of videos (incluinding 1080p ones)? Buy an DualCore phone. That was all I have to say. This finishes the "bug report" of "can't play 720p videos".

Next one, please?

I hope the latest nightly can fix some problems that I'm facing since the 17/18 Nov. nightlies, like phone app crashing after I turn off the BT, random hickups (lag) and some ringtone issues.
But I also wanna thank you Quarx because you still develop CM's for our Defy, even though Defy it's a pretty modest model because of it's HW specs.

I appreciate some of the comments here about the difficulty of keeping threads like this cleaned and organized, especially with so many users not following instructions. However, this is the job I signed up for, so it's not a big deal. :)

That being said, since nothing else seems to be working, I'm going to temporarily close this to force people to use the other support threads for this ROM. If you have a legitimate bug to report and serious question that needs answering, use the support threads (an absolute last resort would be PMing the developer). This will be reopened at the appropriate time.
