Change Apps DPI on the fly

Works on:
CM10
Slim Bean
AOKP
TouchWiz
Any ROM AOSP Based.

I've tested on my device with Slim Beam v3.1.0 (it should work any AOSP base ROM) and it works like a charm so the steps are:

Backup your ROM 1st (Nandroid backup) just in case.

Step 1-Install the Xposed Installer from this link (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1574401)

Step 2-Download Xposed App Settings.apk and install from this link (http://www.villainrom.co.uk/forum/microdownloads/xposed-app-settings.5/viewfile)

Note:
The App Settings.apk it might download as a zip file just renamed the file extension from ".zip" to ".apk" to install it.

Step 3-Launch the Xposed Installer and click on "Install/Update"

Step 4 -Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" tab.

Step 5-Enable the Xposed App Settings by checking the checkbox.

Step 6-Reboot
Done!

Open Xposed App Settings from app drawer and customize your apps dpi

So have I, but this might let you update the Play Store and not have to dig around for a new, modded version.

I dont see why not...

As for the app, good find, wouldn't be surprised if some of the code was based of paranoid android, as that is the entire premise of that ROM anyway. Its what I use to control DPI on a pure app basis, but this is a good option for non aosp

Sorry for the stupid question but what does changing the dpi for different apps do?? I never understood that setting in some one the paranoid android ROMS

K I'll give u a detailed explanation.

The default DPI setting for the Galaxy S2 for example is 240 DPI. Unless your blind pretty much everyone turns it down to around 200. This is great for the overall look of the phone, but certain apps won't run because of the change. If you can change it BACK to 240 just for that app automatically, that's essentially what this app here and paranoid allow for

This looks like what I need. I'm running on aokp with modded gapps and 200dpi. I was trying to play final fantasy, but it wants to run only on 240dpi.

So I can install this stay on 200dpi and every time I run final fantasy, it will default to 240dpi?

what do I mod to 200 or 220 for everything to be in that? or at least system ui

I'm trying to figure this out too. I believe we set the dpi to 200 (or whatever you desire) through the build prop, that applies to everything. Then we use this APP to change things like the play store back to 240, or any other app lower or higher.

Please correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks.
