Re: [ROM][4.2.2][RC1] LiquidSmooth ROMs - d2spr & d2mtr - 2|14|13

Of course. Which ROM doesn't? I haven't found 1 yet. Unless you are referring to something specific like storage access from saving pics or something?

I was under the impression that aosp roms did not read external sd cards because of the fact that the storage is saved under a folder....

Ok so I have officially run into a completely odd situation... Every time I press the menu "key" (far left bottom touch) it brings up the Internet I'm so confused as to why this is happening because I didn't change any settings at all...any help would be great cause I use it all the time

Happened to me too once. Reboot fixes it.

Compiling final builds peeps!! Apparently some of our maintainers aren't maintaining their devices, so we're forced to pick up some of the slack. There's gonna be some changes with the team for sure... But yeah... we've tested it enough and ironed out Most if not All issues :). We're trying to push today for sure, but it's quite a bit of devices... Stay Tuned peeps.... it's finally happening!!!

Hey people, let's all be prepared and make this update a very easy and painless 1 for Mike and the team. I strongly would recommend a full clean wipe before install instead of dirty flashing. If you will have not done so on the upcoming update, please do not report any bugs you may or most likely will not have. So far I have not had 1 force close this thing is godliness.:D

LiquidSmooth/Illusion 4.2.2

We strongly recommend it peeps!! Both Wally and I have experienced two different instances where we had issues in which a data wipe solved. So in order to guarantee you have no issues, please do a data wipe. You can dirty flash to your liking, BUT don't report bugs if you haven't...

Otherwise we're still compiling and uploading builds... I'm currently compiling i9300 and will seal the deal for me and the devices I have to take care of. i9300 will only be available through GooManager til "Hiemanshu" updates the OP. I'll post a link in that thread for those that may be watching....

LiquidPaper is now available via GooManager :D. It's sideload friendly! Thanks to our team member "Droyd" for hooking this up. We'll be adding more soon enough :)

Aight peeps d2 devices are good and ready, just hasn't been made public yet. We're making sure all other devices are good to go so others aren't sitting down wondering when their device is going to be updated :). Once all devices are primed and ready, we'll push... But rest assured d2 devices are uploaded and ready for release... relax peeps, it's coming...

Question for you devs- Since I am already on Liquid Smooth, when the update comes out, how do I go about updating? Do I have to factory reset my phone and stuff? Thanks.

Ever since 4.2 they redid the location of the folders for multiple users. You can still access everything in a file browser like ES File Explorer. I don't know what wouldn't "read" the external card, you just need to know where you are looking for your stuff. This ROM is confirmed, like all others I have tested to have access to your ext sd card. If you need any help with locating files that appear to be eating up memory but aren;t showing up... check in your /mnt/shell folder. I think that is the path, maybe in there is an emulated or something. All files located in the shell folder show up as "0kb" but actually take up full amount of storage that they should and it will look like your sd card is showing way less available memory than it actually has.

Hope that explains that... :-?
