For anyone experiencing problems, try Naddicts suggestions. Especially with the kernel. I had the lag and the locking up of the home screen. My solution to fix which Naddict has already mentioned, for lock screen un check and recheck lock screen of your choice. For kernel, I had to go into the etc /init d folder and delete it's contents then re flash kernel. Hopefully this helps.

I completely reinstalled 2.3 after trying just the update. 2.3 is a bit laggy at first but once it has time to set in it seems to get much quicker. So just be patient and give it an hour or so to see if it improves.

I am the culprit who edited the post and made the OP hidden...I let the user know too...chillax ! Got you covered!
OK, I am going to repeat the earlier post that will probably alleviate a lot of repeat posts, user anxiety, and gremlins. Almost all of the aformentioned issues can be resolved with the below steps. DO NOT post about issues if you have not tried these first EXACTLY!
If you see anyone else ask, please let them know about this post.- clean out the etc/init.d folder (using root explorer or similar, make sure the folder is gone!)
- uninstall any cpu control apps.
- flash stock kernel. (you can find direct DL here )
- wipe caches and fix permissions following the flash. or use the file attached to this post...( I suggest everyone use it anytime you install stuff that requires clearing caches, thanks to Ktoonz for it!)
- reboot.
- refresh/update prl and profile.
- go into/ reset lock screen to aosp in settings after first boot.
As previously observed ..The problem is that the rom defaults to aosp lock screen but it is not selected originally in settings. You have to go in and select it.
After this, feel free to make sure all is running the right way, then you can mess around with the other kernels, but don't forget to use the attached file after you flash other kernels, and, if you use the aroma installer, the same features are built into it, so caches and permissions are taken care of automatically

@ Naddict Yeah I tried your suggestions bro. It didn't work. It seems to end up in bootloop every time except after wiping caches which is not a big deal. Once I get the morphs the way I want it, I won't be rebooting as much. Thank you and everyone else for your help and time, I appreciate it.

So I'm having a red outline, that goes around the border of the screen that randomly flashes.
As well as a pop-up saying time zone changed, every 10-15 seconds.
Any ideas?
I did a complete fresh/clean install. Used the stock kernel, and apex and touchwiz 4x5.
Hopefully if I kill any fuzzies it's offset by the ones I saved by solving my boot loop :fingers-crossed:

If you have a smart TV, you should still be able to use AllShare to link up to it.

Allshare works for me but samsung HTML adaptor to Samsung smart tv doesn't work for home screen view. I bought a second one to make sure. I'm stumped. Tried rebooting while plugged in and checked settings. My girls phone is on the last version of moar and hers doesn't show either.

I know a lot of you have your favorite text colors. So I am making flash-able Nova Launcher zip with your favorite text color. This will change the text color that appears under your apps on your phone, and also in Nova Launcher.

87Hey everyone!! My apologies for the lack of time spent in the thread the last week or so, but I have been spending every spare minute working on the v7.0 MK3 release.
I want to thank everyone who's been supporting the thread; answering any and all questions that pop up.
So here's where v7 stands.. It's taken a boat load of hours to get it to this point. Heck.. I started the clock mod on Thursday!
- Clock Mod works 99%! Including 'left' clock. Need to fix the overlapping icons when center clock is selected
- 4-1 reboot.. Hotboot working 100%
- Choose any color for the Statusbar clock
